Next up for the first team is a trip to BlaenavonBluesFc for the first round of the Ardal Southern Cup on Saturday afternoon.

The boys are full of confidence following last weekend’s win in the FAW Cup and will be looking for a repeat performance to book our place in the next round.

It’s Welsh Cup weekend and we make the trip west to Lampeter AFC of the Mid Wales Premier League South on Saturday afternoon.

After last weekend’s postponement the boys are itching to get back on the pitch and qualify for the next round of the cup.

We will be running a supporters bus with a limited number of seats available so if you would like to join us and support the lads this weekend please drop any of our socials a DM.

Unfortunately tonight’s Ardal SW game against Penrhiwceiber Rangers AFC has been postponed under the FAW Hard Ground and Drought Condition Guidelines.

All Ardal fixtures this weekend have been cancelled and will be rearranged in due course.

An 81st minute winner from our hosts meant we left Victoria Road empty handed last night following a disciplined performance from the boys.

Plenty of positives for us take away and continue building.

Thanks to PortTalbotTownFC for being great hosts.

Our man of the match was Tito Anderson for a brilliant performance in the heart of our defence.

Defeat on penalties at yesterday for the first team.

A game of two halves where we had the better of the first and our hosts the second. Both teams scoring when they were on top with the game ending 1-1 on a dry and bobbly pitch.

Game went to a penalty shoot-out where their keeper pulled off two tremendous saves to mean we exit the FAW Trophy for this season.

We now look forward to returning to league action on Friday night as we travel to Port Talbot.
