TENDONS, LIGAMENTS AND THE SILENT ENEMY

Muscles usually recover fairly quickly. Tendons and ligaments do not.

After 50, blood flow to these tissues decreases, making recovery slower and increasing the risk of injury when the body is pushed too hard.

That’s why many injuries happen when the strength is still there, but the tendons and ligaments can no longer keep up.

The good news is that these tissues respond very well to controlled training, proper recovery, and good nutrition. Patience is also part of it.

Training smart means respecting recovery time, choosing the right training partner, and leaving your ego off the mats.

Remember: an injury can happen in seconds, but recovery can take month, or even years. 👊🥋
