PRDBF family — today was a proud day for Puerto Rico and for dragon boating across the Americas.

The Pan American Dragon Boat Federation (PADBF) held its elections, and we’re excited to share the results for the 2026–2027 term.

We are especially proud that our own PRDBF President, Jomarie Martínez, was elected President of the PADBF.

Jomarie is not only the President of PRDBF—she is the founder of PRDBF and the pioneer who helped launch Puerto Rico’s first dragon boat club, building this sport on the island with passion, resilience, and consistent results. Anyone who has been part of this journey knows: when obstacles show up, she shows up stronger—focused, disciplined, and committed to delivering.
