Today, April 16, on World Semicolon Day, we honor the pauses in our stories—the moments we could have ended things, but chose to keep going.

A semicolon isn’t the end; it’s a continuation.
And so are you.

Your story isn’t over.

World Semicolon Day is dedicated to raising awareness for su***de prevention, mental health, and supporting those struggling with self-injury or addiction. The semicolon symbolizes a person’s choice to continue their life rather than end it—just as an author uses a semicolon instead of a period.

This year, I’m collaborating with Lovemore on a su***de prevention and mental health awareness shirt. Proceeds from this design, available April 16–23, will be donated to the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. Grateful for every moment, every challenge, and every relationship that shaped me.

These past three seasons were filled with memories and moments that helped me build lasting relationships. As a Hornet alum, Sacramento State will always hold a special place in my heart.

I’m excited for the next chapter as I continue my journey in coaching and in life.

Officially earned my Master of Science in Recreation & Sport Sciences from Ohio University! The last 18 months have been an incredible journey. Balancing life, academics, and coaching wasn’t easy — but WE got it done. None of this would’ve been possible without the endless support from my family, friends, and athletes. The certificate may have my name on it, but this accomplishment is truly a team effort. Grateful for every step of the way.
