The FEKM is mourning.

It is with immense sadness that we have learned of the passing of Soili Puranen, Vice President of FEKM-RD Finland.

A pillar in the establishment and development of Krav Maga in Finland, Soili dedicated a large part of her life to sharing her passion with remarkable commitment, dedication, and generosity.

She embodied the core values of Krav Maga: discipline, selflessness, respect for others, kindness, and humility. Her warmth, sense of humor, reliability, and deep humanity made her an exceptional person, admired and respected by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves behind a precious legacy and the memory of a passionate woman who made a lasting impact on the FEKM, both in Finland and throughout our international community.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with her family, loved ones, students, and the entire FEKM-RD Finland community during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Soili. You will forever remain in our hearts.

C’est avec une immense tristesse que nous avons appris le décès de Soili Puranen, vice-présidente de la FEKM-RD Finlande.

Pilier de la construction et du développement du Krav Maga en Finlande, Soili a consacré une grande partie de sa vie à transmettre sa passion avec un engagement, un dévouement et une générosité remarquables.

Elle incarnait les valeurs du Krav Maga : le travail sérieux, l’altruisme, le respect des autres, la bienveillance et l’humilité. Sa gentillesse, son humour, sa fiabilité et son profond sens de l’humain faisaient d’elle une personne exceptionnelle, appréciée et respectée de tous ceux qui l’ont côtoyée.

Elle laisse derrière elle un héritage précieux et le souvenir d’une femme passionnée qui a profondément marqué la FEKM, en Finlande comme au sein de notre communauté internationale.

Toutes nos pensées accompagnent sa famille, ses proches, ses élèves ainsi que l’ensemble de la FEKM-RD Finlande dans cette douloureuse épreuve.

Repose en paix, Soili. Tu resteras à jamais dans nos cœurs.
