Consul General Monika Sobczak visited at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas 🇵🇱 pilot Mr. Piotr Hałas, who was injured in a balloon crash during the Gordon Bennett Cup competition.

Mr. Piotr is already feeling better. He will soon return to Poland and begin rehabilitation 💪

Thanks to Voitek Liczkowski, who is in the hospital with Mr. Piotr every day and helps him in all activities 🙏 Thanks also to the entire Polish community in Dallas, visiting Mr. Piotr, cooking 🇵🇱 food for him and organizing all kinds of help. You are all wonderful! 👏

18 teams from 9 nations will compete at the 66th Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett. They will take off on Oct 5 from Albuquerque and fly as far as they can across the US and Canada.
