What do you love most about carbon kayaks?

For me, it’s their stiffness. Carbon combined with epoxy resin creates an incredibly responsive and efficient kayak that just feels amazing on the water.

For sea kayaking, where you’re not constantly smashing into rocks, I honestly don’t think there’s a better material.

And then there’s the look… nothing beats the raw beauty of exposed carbon.

Oh, and the most important feature of all… it’s black. And as everyone knows—black makes everything look slimmer. 😎🖤

From mold to the water.

The Arrow Play is built for one thing: pure fun on the water.

To make a kayak that can handle years of surfing, rock hopping, and rolling, we use Carbon/Kevlar fabric, infused with epoxy resin using the vacuum infusion process. After that, the molds go into the oven for post-curing to achieve maximum strength.

Then the real craftsmanship begins: demolding the hull and deck, bonding them together, installing every fitting by hand, polishing, quality control, weighing, and finally packing the finished kayak.

From the moment the gelcoat is sprayed into the mold to the moment the kayak is ready to ship, the entire process can take up to a week.

Today, it has become one of the most popular colors across all the kayak brands we build together.

We think it suits the Arrow Play HV perfectly—especially with the iconic Arrow on the deck.

Many brands are born in our Danish-Polish company, and Bluefin Kayaks is one of them.

Until now, these kayaks have only been available in Denmark. But that’s about to change.

In just a few weeks, the Isa will make its debut in the USA, followed by the most popular boats in the family – the Frej series.

We’re excited to see Bluefin crossing the Atlantic and reaching a whole new community of paddlers. 🌊🇩🇰🇵🇱🇺🇸

A little surprise! 👀

Right in the middle of the season, we’re bringing back a kayak that hasn’t been in production for quite some time.

Our friend is organizing an amazing event in the Lofoten Islands and convinced us to bring this project back to life. We simply couldn’t say no.

Tandem kayaks aren’t our main focus, but it’s always fun to add something different to the production line.
