Last night was the final club session before some of our swimmers head over to Slovakia for the European Masters Aquatics Championships! 🇸🇰

They’ll be competing over a number of individual and relay events from 18th - 24th August at the x-bionic sphere in Samorin ✨

More open water success!! 🌊 Congrats to Rachel Whitwell who placed 1st overall woman and 4th in the overall mixed in the 2-mile Sandsend to Whitby swim this weekend! Rachel came home in a time of 49mins 54secs in a challenging race.

More open water success! 🌊 Congrats to Rachel who competed in the Swim England North East and North West Regional Open Water Championships in Sale yesterday. Coming away with Yorkshire and North East gold in the 3km event🥇🏊‍♀️💙

Massive congrats to all our East Leeds swimmers who swam at the last weekend in Lake Windermere! 🌊🏅💙 An amazing feat for the swimmers - many of which were new to open water swimming.

A number of our swimmers were also raising money for (easy to spot in their bright pink tops!) with over £8k raised for the young people’s mental health charity over the weekend.

Well done to all! 💪

Huge congratulations to Alistair Crawford, who delivered an outstanding performance at the British Masters Swimming Championships in Aberdeen (12–14 June).

Competing in the 40–44 age group, Alistair dominated the competition, winning all four of his events: 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke, and 50m Butterfly. 🥇🥇🥇🥇

As if becoming a four-time British Masters Champion wasn’t impressive enough, Alistair also set a new British Record in the 50m Butterfly, clocking 26.02 seconds and shaving 0.05 seconds off the previous one! 🚀🇬🇧

An incredible achievement and a fantastic weekend of racing. Well done, Alistair! 👏
