I'm convinced no one actually reads descriptions anymore so I'm just going to post a cookie recipe instead.
Perfect for stress-eating while you contemplate the inevitable heat death of the universe.
Save this post for the next time you want cookies.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (150g) brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (the only thing keeping this recipe together)
- 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions:
- Cream: Beat the butter and sugars together. Think about all your past mistakes - it helps to get some frustration into the bowl.
- Wet Ingredients: Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Don’t think about how short their lives were.
- Dry Ingredients: Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Chill: Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes. Use this time to stare at a wall and wonder why we’re all here.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop dough onto a sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Consume: Let them cool for 5 minutes, or don't - burning your mouth is just another way to feel something.
