The Punjab Olympic Association (PbOA) got affiliated with the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) in 1948.
Its main task is to promote and develop sports in the province. The Association undertakes its activities as per its Constitution. The Association is responsible to organize Inter Provincial Games / Championships and biennial National Games as and when allotted by the POA.
