It is with profound grief and deep sorrow that the Pakistan Basketball Federation announces the passing of Prof. Siraj Ul Haq Qureshi, Secretary, Referees Board, Pakistan Basketball Federation.

Prof. Qureshi devoted many years to the development of basketball in Pakistan, particularly in strengthening the standards of officiating and mentoring generations of referees. His dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the game earned him the respect and admiration of the entire basketball fraternity.

His passing is an immense loss to Pakistani basketball. His invaluable contributions and legacy will always be remembered.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all members of the basketball community. May they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

It is with profound sadness that the Pakistan Basketball Federation mourns the passing of Mr. Horacio Muratore, Former President of FIBA and one of the most respected leaders in the history of international basketball.

Mr. Muratore devoted his life to the growth and development of basketball, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of leadership, integrity, and service to the global basketball community. His vision and commitment helped shape the future of the sport and inspired generations of administrators, officials, coaches, and players around the world.
