First international institute offering accredited counselling training in Pakistan since 2014. Transform your career, make a difference.

We nurture personal & professional growth through humanistic integrative counselling education. CPPD has specifically developed workshops to give students an understanding of counselling skills as well as developing a greater understanding of themselves. CPPD provide the same training in Pakistan that we do in the UK where students can obtain a Certificate in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and then go on to do the 2-year Advanced Diploma course.

Diploma Batch 18, together. 🌱

A moment to celebrate how far this group has come, and the community they’ve built along the way.

With gratitude to our tutors, Samia Chundrigar and Jacky Mirza, for holding space for this cohort’s growth.

Certificate 33, together in the room.

There’s something about a cohort finding its rhythm. The questions, the pauses, the moments of recognition when someone puts words to what you’ve felt but couldn’t name.

Grateful to Daniyal Abbas for holding this space with them.

We’re excited to finally share “The Crucible”, an intimate, therapeutic retreat.

Six nights on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, 7–13 November 2026, we will move through experiential process work, reflection and connection.

Rather than a break from your life, it’s an invitation to engage with yourself in a way that lasts - with skilled facilitation, in a deliberately small group.

If you’ve been longing to slow down and gently meet the parts of you asking to be seen, we’d love to welcome you.

Many people believe their story is written in stone.

That childhood shapes in ways that can’t change. That reactions are just “who they are.”

Here’s a different truth: you are not your history. You are your choices.

Every moment offers a chance to decide who you want to be. Every interaction creates space to respond differently than yesterday.

This doesn’t mean bypassing the past. It means understanding how it shaped you so you can consciously choose what to keep and what to release.

At CPPD, there’s space for all of your story - the beautiful parts and the difficult ones. Because every experience has prepared you for this moment.

Your past is your teacher, not your prison.

There are parts of us we’ve learned to keep hidden.
The anger, the fear, the parts that still ache to be seen.
We carry them quietly, and they shape us more than we realise.

The Crucible is a space to bring those parts into the light.
Not alone, but held by a community and guided by facilitators who won’t look away.

Join Nida Khan and Samia Chundrigar for a week of shadow work in Ahangama, Sri Lanka, from November 7 to 13, 2026.

Spots are limited to 8 for double occupancy and 4 for dorm rooms.
Registration link in bio.

For questions, WhatsApp Samia at +92 300 9247387 or Nida at +92 333 2253915.

Last Saturday, over 70 people joined us at Karachi Gymkhana for something different from a usual talk.

Instead of a stage and a presentation, we built six stations. Each one invited people to pause and notice something, their feelings, their values, their strengths and the person they are becoming.

This is what a CPPD experience feels like. Not being told about counselling, but living a small piece of it.

The turnout told us something we already believed. People are looking for community, connection and purpose.

A big thank you to our tutors, who gave up their Saturday, to facilitate this experience with so much care. Zehra Mohiuddin, Jacky Mirza, Nida Khan, Daniyal Abbas, Tehmina Lodhi and Samia Chundrigar, thank you for showing up for our .

Most of us were taught to override these signals. To push through. To perform “fine” until it became second nature.

Unlearning that takes practice. It starts small. Noticing a clenched jaw mid-conversation. Noticing the exhale that comes after leaving a room.

None of it needs fixing right away. It just needs noticing first.

This is part of the quiet work explored in our training. Not as theory, but as something practised together, in real time, with others learning the same language.

Most of us interrupt without noticing. We’re not being rude, we’re just uncomfortable with silence, so we fill it before the other person is done thinking.

Real listening means letting that discomfort sit there. It means giving someone the time to find their own words, even if that takes longer than we’d like.

This is harder than it sounds, because staying quiet can feel like doing nothing. But it’s often the most useful thing you can do for someone.
