1st Meinhardt Grade A+ National Ranking Tennis Championships Continue at PTF Complex
The 1st Meinhardt Grade A+ National Ranking Tennis Championships continued at the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, featuring the participation of the country’s leading tennis players.Top national players, including Aqeel Khan, Muzammil Murtaza, Muhammad Shoaib, Barkatullah, Mudassir Murtaza, Hamza Roman, Abubakar Talha, Ahmad Nael Qureshi, Ushna Suhail, Mahin Aftab Qureshi, Bismal Zia, Khadija Khalil, Labika Durab,Amir Mazari M.Hassan Usmani , Hajra Sohail, Zohaib Afzal Malik and Shayan Afridi, are competing in this prestigious championship.
The tournament has received an overwhelming response, with more than 400 entries registered across 11 categories, including:
Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Singles, Ladies’ Doubles, Boys’ 18 & Under Singles, Boys’ 14 & Under Singles, Girls’ 14 & Under Singles, Boys’ 12 & Under Singles, Girls’ 12 & Under Singles, Men’s 40+ Doubles, and Men’s 50+ Doubles.
A total prize purse of PKR 2 million (20 lac) will be distributed among the participating players.
Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), and Col.Zia-ud-Din Tufail , Secretary General PTF, conveyed their best wishes to all participants and expressed confidence that the championships would showcase a high standard of tennis while providing players with an excellent opportunity to enhance their national rankings.
The PTF leadership also expressed sincere appreciation to Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Gandapur, Country Director, Meinhardt Pakistan, and the Meinhardt management for their generous support and commitment to the development of tennis in Pakistan through their sponsorship of this prestigious national event.

🇵🇰 Ahtesham Humayun Wins J60 Doubles Title in Tunisia
Pakistan’s young tennis talent Ahtesham Humayun has achieved an impressive international success by winning the J60 Doubles title at the World Tennis Junior Championship in Megrine, Tunisia.
Ahtesham partnered with Joshua Oliver Zapp of Switzerland (SUI) and delivered a strong performance throughout the tournament.
In the final, the Pakistani-Swiss pair defeated Zayd Ahfer (MAR) / Yacine Meghari (ALG) in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-2 to claim the championship title.
Ahtesham Humayun is training at Ace Academy Pakistan, and his latest international achievement highlights the growing potential of Pakistan’s young tennis players and the importance of quality training and international competition.
President Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, and Secretary General PTF, Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail, congratulated Ahtesham Humayun on this outstanding achievement. They expressed their happiness and pride at seeing Pakistani players performing strongly on the international stage and bringing laurels to the country.
