Today’s 28-4-2026 Brown Bag Lunch panel discussion on “Promoting Safe and Healthy Workplaces in Pakistan”, organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and PRIDE, was a very successful and meaningful event.
I was pleased to participate as a panelist and contribute to an important discussion marking the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026. The session provided an excellent platform to discuss practical workplace risks, including psychosocial hazards, mental health, climate-related impacts, and the need for stronger preventive OSH systems in Pakistan.

The session focused on enhancing understanding of the Minimum Service Delivery Standards, strengthening workplace safety, and aligning healthcare practices with international best standards.
