Eto ang football. đź’šâš˝
Win or lose, respect pa rin.

Matheus Cunha comforted Japan’s Ao Tanaka after his costly error in stoppage time led to Brazil’s 2-1 win and Japan’s exit in the Round of 32.

Sportsmanship beyond the result. 🤝🇧🇷🇯🇵

JAPAN'S WAY vs. BRAZIL'S GINGA
(1:00AM PH TIME)

Japan's Way was developed as a national football philosophy with a bold vision: to win the FIFA World Cup by 2050. Built on the country's values of discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement, it provides a clear blueprint, from grassroots football and youth development to the professional leagues and the national team.

Now, Japan faces its greatest challenge yet in the knockout stage: Brazil.

Looking at the tactical battle, Japan is expected to rely on a compact 5-4-1 low block, closing central spaces and forcing Brazil wide before launching quick transitions. It will be a stern test against Brazil's fluid attack, where fast feet, quick combinations, and constant movement are the essence of Ginga.

Brazil's football identity is rooted in samba, street football, and the flowing movements of capoeira. Ginga represents creativity, flair, improvisation, and joy, a philosophy that has produced five FIFA World Cup titles and generations of legendary players.

Tomorrow is more than just a match. It is a clash of two footballing cultures: the rising vision of Japan's Way against the time-tested brilliance of Brazil's Ginga.

Whatever the result, both teams are products of philosophies that shaped their identities, developed their players, and brought them to this stage. One built on structure, discipline, and collective organization. The other on freedom, creativity, and expressive football.

Tomorrow, two footballing philosophies collide.

It was a privilege to meet and discuss with Coach Reffix Ursos Cuaresma about the possibility of holding a football and goalkeeping camp in Zamboanga soon.

Coach Ref was a member of the Philippine Men’s National Football Team with and served as one of the Azkals’ goalkeepers for 14 years, bringing with him a wealth of experience and knowledge at the highest level of Philippine football.

We are excited about the opportunity to provide our young players with another valuable learning experience, both on the field and between the posts, and we look forward to sharing more details in the coming months.

Our First International Goal! ⚽🇵🇭

As the road to the 2026 World Cup continues to inspire footballers around the world, we would like to share a special milestone in our academy’s journey, our first-ever international goal, scored by our very own Co-Captain, Andrew!

The sun was blazing, adrenaline was high, and the pressure was building. Trailing 3–0 in our very first international match against Thailand’s LAEMCHABANG FC, our young lads refused to give up. They continued to battle with determination, courage, and heart. Their relentless attacking pressure forced the opposition to foul one of our strikers, earning us a free kick approximately 30 feet from goal.

With remarkable composure, Co-Captain Andrew stepped up, sized up the opposition, and delivered a cR7-style free kick. The ball rocketed into the net like a bullet, leaving everyone in awe, including the Thai spectators!

It was a historic moment for the team and a goal that will forever be remembered as the first international goal in our academy’s history.

Congratulations, Andrew! Keep making us proud and continue inspiring your teammates. Heads up and always stay grounded. ⚽🔥🇵🇭
