RASUC 18 (NIR) Regional SCUAA Coordination Meeting and Induction of Sports Council Officers

The RASUC 18 (NIR) Regional SCUAA Coordination Meeting was attended by the Sports Directors of Negros Oriental State University, Central Philippines State University, Philippine Normal University–Visayas, Technological University of the Philippines–Visayas, Siquijor State College, Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, and the host institution, State University of Northern Negros.

The meeting provided an avenue for the participating state universities and colleges to strengthen coordination, discuss regional SCUAA initiatives, and foster collaboration toward the continued development of collegiate sports in the Negros Island Region.

The activity also included the Induction of the RASUC 18 (NIR) Sports Council Officers, formally hosted by the State University of Northern Negros, marking a significant step in strengthening leadership, cooperation, and collective commitment to advancing sports development across the region.

𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗛𝗠𝗦𝗨!🌊

Congratulations to 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗮, 𝗘𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗮, and 𝗭𝗼𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀 for securing 2nd Place in Division 3 Boys and Division 3 Girls at the National Interschool Short Course Swimming Championship held on August 8–9, 2026 at the University of St. La Salle–Bacolod.

Their outstanding performances and individual awards reflect their dedication, discipline, and passion for excellence in the sport.

The Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) Sports Office successfully conducted a benchmarking activity in Iloilo City as part of its commitment to continuously enhancing its sports and wellness programs. The activity provided an opportunity to exchange best practices, strengthen institutional partnerships, and gain valuable insights into sports development, athlete management, facility operations, and program implementation.

Talisay South Elementary School, in support of Brigada Eskwela 2026, will be holding a 2K Fun Run this June 1, 2026.

This activity aims to bring the community together through fitness, fun, and bayanihan while helping prepare the school for the upcoming opening of classes. Every registration helps support school initiatives and improvements for the learners.
