I extend my deepest gratitude to the Board of Jurors of the HERO OF PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD for recognizing our humble contributions to water safety, environmental stewardship, and the advancement of aquatic sports.

This recognition is not mine alone. I proudly share it with the men, women, and children of Swim League Philippines across the nation, whose voluntary service, dedication, love, and passion for our mission are truly immeasurable, our collective efforts reflects the strength of a united movement committed to nation-building.

This award strengthens our resolve to continue molding future heroes of sport and future leaders of our nation. We firmly believe that the values of integrity, discipline, service, teamwork, and respect must be cultivated in our youth. By investing in our children today, we help build a stronger and more united, resilient and intelligent Philippines tomorrow.

While there have been occasions when some individuals in positions of authority within the aquatic community have belittled our cause, questioned our intentions, or hindered our efforts, we remain steadfast in our mission. Challenges and obstacles will never diminish our commitment to serving Filipino communities, promoting water safety, protecting our environment, and expanding opportunities for every dreamer, every aspiring swimmer.

We choose to focus not on division, but on service; not on personal interests, but on the greater good,
not on discouragement, but on hope. Our purpose is greater than any obstacle we may encounter.

We reaffirm our commitment to promoting water safety, environmental stewardship, and inclusive opportunities in aquatic sports. Through these efforts, we seek to unite Filipinos from all walks of life and inspire future generations to become champions not only in sport but also in character and service.

More than the win, this moment is shared with our Bert Lozada Swim School PowerSwim family, the Swim League Philippines family, and the entire Coastman community. Coach Kevin led from the front and still made sure everyone finished strong—waiting for each of us at the finish line.
