The 10th SAULOG Badminton Cup, held on May 22–25, 2026, at the Tagbiran Badminton Center, Bohol City, showcased intense competition and remarkable performances.

Representing the Philippine Army, PFC Jerickson Obaob (Inf) PA bagged 1st runner-up on the podium for Men's Doubles Open after exhausting and thrilling matches in the tournament. He is in tandem with his elder brother, Sgt Jason Obaob of the Philippine Air Force. The said tournament highlighted foreign players from Indonesia and caliber shuttlers from different colleges & universities all over the country.

A reported 9.4 degrees Celsius in the summer capital of the Philippines, nothing could stop the thrilling and exciting matches of PFC Johan Art Rivas and PFC Jerickson Obaob, who emerged as champions in the 9th Bulado Badminton Cup held from 13 to 15 March 2026 at BMI Irisan, Baguio City. Their dedication and exceptional skills brought pride to the Philippine Army, showcasing excellence in sports and discipline on the court. Congratulations!
