The Biology Teachers Association of the Philippines, Inc. Bicol chapter hold its 13th Annual Biota Regional Convention and Scientific Sessions last August 21-22, 2026 at CBM Building SorSU. As part of the program, SorSU Instrumentos de Cordo, headed by the Music Director Ms Shayne Kate A. Gozo, performed in the said event.

On August 21, 2026, the Instrumentos De Cordo held an orientation and training session for the newly recruited members. The session began with introductions from our officers and an orientation on the fundamentals of being part of a rondalla ensemble. Our aspiring members were then introduced to proper posture, correct instrument handling, the sol-fa syllables, and the different parts of their instruments.

The session then ended with smiles, new experiences, and a group picture to mark the beginning of a new journey and a new memorable moment for the organization.

To all our aspiring members, welcome to Instrumentos De Cordo! May this be the beginning of many melodies, performances, memories, and friendships together. 🫶✨

In celebration of National Heritage Month and as a culmination of the learning and experiences gained in Art Apprenticeship 2 and Drama 4, the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education 3A proudly presents:

A celebration dedicated to preserving, appreciating, and passing on the rich cultural heritage of Sorsogon through music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and storytelling.

The event will feature a symposium with distinguished speakers who have contributed greatly to the preservation and promotion of Sorsogon’s heritage through different art forms. The event will be held on May 18, 2026, at the Sorsogon State University Social Hall. Registration will start at 8:00 AM.
