JUST IN: SAD NEWS FOR THE GINEBRA FAMILY 🕊️

Barangay Ginebra has lost one of its most loyal and dedicated members. Longtime team utility Ian Calilan has passed away at the age of 51.

Calilan faithfully served the Gin Kings for nearly three decades, joining the organization in 1999. He witnessed some of the franchise’s most unforgettable moments, from the legendary “Fast and the Furious” era of Mark Caguioa and Jayjay Helterbrand to the team’s modern-day successes.

Even in his final days, his commitment to the team never wavered. He was still with Ginebra during last Sunday’s game against Magnolia. Sadly, just a few days later, the Ginebra family was shocked by the news of his passing following a lingering illness.

Ian Calilan was more than a utility staff member—he was a beloved part of the Ginebra family whose dedication and service will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Ian Calilan. Thank you for your years of unwavering loyalty and service. 🕊️💙
