♟️📖 𝗔 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱... 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?!

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 that the folding chess board may have originated from a priest who wanted to play chess in secret? 👀

According to the story, around 1125, 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 from playing chess. So, an English priest supposedly came up with a clever solution: a chess board that could 𝖿𝗈𝗅𝖽 𝗎𝗉 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗋𝖾𝗌𝖾𝗆𝖻𝗅𝖾 𝗍𝗐𝗈 𝖻𝗈𝗈𝗄𝗌 𝗌𝗍𝖺𝖼𝗄𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗈𝗀𝖾𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗋, allowing it to stay hidden in plain sight. 🤫♟️

What started as a clever way to conceal a chess game eventually became the 𝖿𝗈𝗅𝖽𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖼𝗁𝖾𝗌𝗌 𝖻𝗈𝖺𝗋𝖽 𝖽𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗀𝗇 we recognize today!

Kiddings aside! We all know naman how important our chess pieces are and how every move can change the entire game. Kaya bawat galaw, pinag-iisipan—because sometimes, one wrong move can cost you the game.

But nevertheless, don’t ever forget that at the end of the day, whether you win or lose, there’s always something worth playing for.

Doon na kayo sa nagpi-first move gamit ang "𝐇𝐢, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮?" — basta ako, doon sa 1.𝐞4 😏

Kidding aside, maraming chess players ang gumagamit ng e4 as their first move. Why? Kasi moving e4 gives you a lot of advantages such as 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓, making it 𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒆𝒓 to 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑 your 𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔, and opening the way for 𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔. From open games to flexible strategies, e4 sets the board for an active and dynamic match.

Pero kung iisipin, both first move in chess and in conversation really matters. Mas better kung pinag-iisipin nating mabuti ang bawat galaw bago natin gawin. 😊

The longest real-world official game ever played was between Ivan Nikolić and Goran Arsović in Belgrade in 1989. It lasted 269 moves and took over 20 hours of play before ending in a draw!

What was on the mind of expected people that time,a full 20 hours of watching a match that will draw on thy end.

but even people watch that long they still called it history its just amazing that history can still be created out of pure silence and 269 moves.
