𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗬𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗙𝗖 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗣𝗩 𝗙𝗖 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝗩𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲!

The Vamos Cup 2025 has concluded, delivering on its promise of exhilarating football and uniting the community in excitement. In a truly memorable final, Silver Yana FC, the rookie team from League 1 - Division 1 who remarkably finished 2nd in their initial round, emerged as the triumphant champions, stunning favorites GPV FC.

The highly anticipated final match, witnessed by a roaring crowd including SCCNFC President Pocholo C. Yuvienco, who was also present for the awarding ceremonies, remained a tense deadlock through the first half. However, the second half ignited with a flurry of action that decided the fate of the coveted trophy.

Silver Yana FC broke the deadlock when a defensive lapse from GPV FC's Neil John del Rosario near the goal, following a throw-in, was clinically punished by Silver Yana. The "young guns" then secured a crucial insurance goal, with Bjorn Pando capitalizing on a scramble inside the box. GPV FC, the "giant" and three-time League 1 champions, fought valiantly to get back into the game, and Lemark Unabia managed to score a consolation goal almost at the very end of the match. However, it was not enough to deny Silver Yana FC their historic victory.

The undisputed hero of the final, and deservedly declared the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Vamos Cup 2025, was Romeo Suerto, the phenomenal goalkeeper for Silver Yana FC. Suerto delivered a heroic performance between the posts, making a series of crucial saves against GPV FC's relentless attacks. Notably, he thwarted two devastating attempts from GPV FC's Michael Continedo, showcasing remarkable instinct and agility to keep his clean sheet effectively intact until the very last moments.

Silver Yana FC's improbable triumph is a testament to their resilience, strategic play, and ability to perform under immense pressure. Their journey from a newly promoted team to Vamos Cup champions truly captivated the San Carlos community, making the inaugural tournament a resounding success that fostered camaraderie and passion for the beautiful game.

The wait is over! After a thrilling journey through the knockout and semifinal rounds, the inaugural Vamos Cup 2025 Final is set, pitting two of San Carlos City's most compelling teams against each other: the seasoned champions GPV FC and the resilient Silver Yana FC.

The semifinals certainly delivered drama. While some may have expected other contenders, the aggregate results proved decisive. GPV FC demonstrated their formidable strength by confidently dispatching MB Balbacua FC, showcasing their experience and defensive prowess, highlighted by goalkeeper Kyle Bayabos's Man of the Match performance in Leg 2. On the other side, Silver Yana FC navigated a high-scoring, nail-biting 7-7 draw in Leg 2 against Batang X, leveraging their Leg 1 advantage to secure their place, with Roy Panunciar's hat-trick for Batang X underscoring the intensity of that tie.

Now, it's the ultimate showdown: the young guns versus the giant.
