𝑴𝑬𝑴𝑶𝑹𝑨𝑩𝑳𝑬 𝑪𝑳𝑶𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑪𝑬𝑹𝑬𝑴𝑶𝑵𝒀 𝑶𝑭 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑹𝑶𝑿𝑨𝑺 𝑴𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑪𝑰𝑷𝑨𝑳 𝑨𝑻𝑯𝑳𝑬𝑻𝑰𝑪 𝑴𝑬𝑬𝑻 2025- 𝑨𝑺 𝑾𝑬 𝑺𝑨𝒀 𝑭𝑨𝑹𝑬𝑾𝑬𝑳𝑳, 𝑳𝑬𝑻𝑺 𝑻𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑺𝑼𝑹𝑬 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑩𝑶𝑵𝑫𝑺 𝑾𝑬'𝑽𝑬 𝑩𝑼𝑰𝑳𝑻 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑪𝑬𝑳𝑬𝑩𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑬 𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑨𝑪𝑯𝑰𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑺!

The Roxaseño athletes recently showcased their skills and sportsmanship in a series of competitions and activities organized by the three districts to foster camaraderie and unity. The Municipal Athletic Meet Awarding Ceremony and Closing Program concluded on January 26, 2025– leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. Spanning across Roxas North, Roxas Central, and Roxas South, the event culminated in the much-anticipated closing ceremony held at the Roxas Municipal Dome.

The program began with a solemn prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the Brotherhood Parade of Athletes from the participating districts. Ma’am Conchita A. Dacillo, OIC Assistant Principal for SHS, delivered a message on behalf of Principal Felomina V. Alanis, Principal IV of RNCHS. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the success of the event, attributing it to the cooperation and goodwill of everyone involved. She also highlighted the support of the Local Government Unit (LGU) and shared her pride in RNCHS being chosen as the host school.

Dr. Rowena S. Magbanua, District Sports Focal Person (DSFP) of Roxas Central, expressed her gratitude as well, on behalf of Sir Jimme D. Sumandal and Sir Caesar P. Lencio, DSFPs of Roxas North and South, respectively. Quoting Alan Cohen, she shared, "Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts." She extended her heartfelt thanks to the Local Government Unit of Roxas led by Hon. Mayor Dennis M. Sabando, Hon. Vice Mayor Reynaldo Pacho, as well as the Municipal Engineering Office, Mr. Vincent Mampay (Municipal Sports Coordinator), Barangay LGUs, PSDS Joseph K. Baluarte, PhD (Roxas Central), PSDS Renante Agnis, PhD (Roxas North), and PSDS Roque G. Badilla (Roxas South). Additionally, she recognized the invaluable efforts of school heads, tournament managers, officiating officials, technical working committees, medical personnel, teachers, parents, and the host school, RNCHS, whose dedication contributed to the success of the event.

The highlight of the program was the announcement of the Municipal Athletic Meet results and the awarding of medals and certificates to the deserving winners. Cheers erupted from the crowd as the names of the victors were announced. The triumphant learner-athletes stood proud on the victory stand, receiving their medals with respect and satisfaction for their hard work and dedication. Roxas Central District emerged as the overall CHAMPION for the Elementary level, ahead Roxas South District in First Runner-Up and Roxas North District in Second Runner-Up. Meanwhile, RNCHS was proclaimed as the CHAMPION for the Secondary level.

Under the leadership of the PSDS of the host district, Dr. Joseph K. Baluarte, the Municipal Athletic Meet 2025 concluded successfully. The ceremony wrapped up with the lowering of delegation banners by their respective leaders and muses, marking the end of the competition and celebrating the unity built among the learner-athletes and their schools. Filled with pride, camaraderie, and a sense of accomplishment, the athletes returned to their schools, carrying memories they will treasure for years to come.
