Triathlon Philippines President Tom Carrasco Jr. and Vice President Sarita Zafra met with PSC Commissioner Walter Torres and Ms. Johanna Ruiz Torres today for a productive mid-year review of the federation's programs and initiatives.

The meeting covered Triathlon Philippines' budget utilization, updates on the National Training Pool (NTP) and athlete performances, preparations for the upcoming Asian Games in September, as well as the federation's international competitions and local race calendar for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Also highlighted was the continued development of the National Youth Training Pool (NYTP) Program, a key initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of Filipino triathletes.

With the steadfast support of the Philippine Sports Commission, Triathlon Association of the Philippines remains committed to strengthening athlete development pathways, expanding opportunities for competition, and building a sustainable future for the sport.

The meeting focused on strengthening preparations for the National Training Pool (NTP) and National Youth Training Pool (NYTP), including athlete training, coaching support, and participation in key international competitions as part of the country’s long-term high-performance pathway.
