The ultra-light Reel Expert series rear hubs are the upgraded Reel Pro v.2 hubs that were available before. The Reel Expert hubs are equipped with a new wide pawl system with 108 engagement points and a reinforced
structure to meet the requirements of modern drivetrains with cassettes generating very high loads when uphilling on a 51T or 52T cog. Each pawl has 2 teeth, catching the ratchet ring at the same time to increase the reliability of the pawl system. This super-strong system has already been used by us in Raven and Thunder straight-pull wheels.

There are four versions of Reel Expert rear hubs, three of which are equipped with aluminum 7075 internal axles and freehubs compatible with Shimano HG (a common type of freehub), Shimano Microspline, or SRAM XD standards. The fourth version is dedicated to e-bikes and is equipped with a Cr-Mo steel internal axle and a Cr-Mo steel Shimano HG freehub to withstand the loads generated by the drivetrains of gravity e-bikes.

The Reel Expert rear hubs are equipped with the highest quality sealed bearings with LLU full-contact seals branded with the Dartmoor logo and custom-selected Mobil waterproof grease for the best mud and dust protection. There are 5 sealed bearings in the hubs with Shimano HG and SRAM XD freehubs and 6 sealed bearings in the hubs with Shimano Microspline freehub.

Compatibility between Reel Expert and Reel Pro V.2 series:
Freehubs, pawls, and springs – not compatible
Internal axles and cones – compatible

Sold individually, not as front-and-rear sets, making it easy to get the right combination for Mullet bikes, regardless of the type of cassette used.
