In such a mountain ridge setting, the fairways and the greens had to be carved out, ever keeping in mind that the course must not only be playable, but must adhere to international standards of a championship golf course. This task fell on the shoulders of Mr. James Martell Jr., the renowned golf designer and shaper, who tended to crafting a golf course out of the rough terrain with passion and in meticulous detail, preserving intact as many of the natural attractions and creating as many vantage points of viewing the scenic spots.
