Liam had an idea. He wanted to see if he could take a hardtail mountain bike and build it into a CONVERTIBLE gravel bike, and the results surprised even him.

Using a Surly Sorceress as the base of this build, he constructed a modular cockpit meaning that he could switch the bike from mountain bike mode to gravel bike mode in just about five minutes. But can a mountain bike really do gravel all that well?

It’s been a while since we rolled out from the busy streets of BGC, at Bonifacio March. This Sunday, we head south.

Through the C5 Extension. Into the backroads of Parañaque. A few good turns, a little adventure, and coffee waiting for us at Thirty Three Cafe.
