πŸ₯‹ Every black belt began with a white belt. Every promotion begins with a decision to keep showing up.

Congratulations to all our karatekas who successfully earned their new belts during our KDA Belt Promotion last June 29, 2026! πŸŽ‰

A new belt is more than just a new color around the waist. It represents the hours spent training, the lessons learned from every mistake, the discipline to keep going, and the courage to grow one step at a time.

To our students, thank you for trusting the process. To our parents and families, thank you for your unwavering support. And to our coaches and instructors, thank you for continuing to shape not just skilled martial artists, but individuals of strong character.
This promotion marks another milestone, but the journey is far from over. Keep training, stay humble, and continue striving for excellence both inside and outside the dojo.

Congratulations once again, KDA family! We're proud of every single one of you. πŸ₯‹β€οΈ

Competition helps athletes grow. Fair officiating helps the sport grow.

The 10th MKKPI Championships gave our athletes another opportunity to challenge themselves, represent our dojo, and continue growing through competition. They stepped onto the tatami carrying months of preparation, discipline, and countless hours of training.

In this post, our athletes share the lessons they gained from the tournament, the challenges they faced, and the people who helped them every step of the way.

Alongside their reflections, our coaching staff also shares an important perspective. We are grateful to the organizers for creating opportunities that bring karatekas together in the spirit of friendly competition. At the same time, we hope our feedback on the tournament's officiating is received constructively. Consistent and fair judging is essential to every athlete who dedicates their time, effort, and passion to this sport.

We believe that open and respectful conversations are part of helping karate continue to grow. By listening to athletes, coaches, and officials alike, we can work toward competitions that uphold the values our martial art teaches us both on and off the tatami.

To our athletes, thank you for representing KDA with courage, humility, and resilience. We are proud of every lesson you learned and every challenge you embraced.

A black belt isn't earned alone.

Behind every class attended, every challenge overcome, and every goal achieved is someone cheering from the sidelines, offering guidance, support, and encouragement along the way.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, father figures, and mentors who inspire our students to work hard, stay disciplined, and become the best versions of themselves.

Happy Father's Day from the KDA family.
