This year’s Jewels Conference was one of the most meaningful ones I’ve attended in years. And I believe it’s because God reminded me, once again, just how faithful He is—and how generously He showers us with His grace. 🤍✨

This year was even more special because I got to experience it with first-timers—women who came carrying different stories, struggles, questions, and prayers.

We may have heard the same messages, but God met each of us differently. The words that spoke to one heart were different from the words another needed to hear. And somehow, God knew exactly what each of us needed.

That’s the beautiful thing about our God. He speaks one message, but He knows exactly how to make it personal. 🙏

So I’m sharing with you the messages I received—not because they are simply my takeaways, but because I believe some of them might be the very words God wants you to hear, too.

Maybe He has a message for you in them. Maybe a reminder. Maybe an answer to a prayer you’ve been quietly carrying.

Open your heart. Listen. And allow God to speak. 💛

Nagve-veil ka ba? 🤍

I never thought wearing a veil at Mass would become second nature to me.

I started veiling around mid-2025. I wasn’t sure if I would feel comfortable wearing one, or whether I would actually keep doing it.

But little by little, I did.

Now, whenever I go to Holy Mass, I instinctively reach for my veil. It has become a small but meaningful part of how I prepare my heart to encounter Jesus.

I’m still working on making it a habit whenever the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, too. One faithful step at a time. 🙏🏻

I started with the inexpensive veils I found on the orange app 😂 and now I’ve graduated to this beautiful, handmade lace veil inspired by St. Zélie Martin, the mother of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and a lacemaker herself.

Isn’t it beautiful? 🥹🤍

But you might ask…

Why do I veil?

For five reasons:

1️⃣ To publicly declare my submission to God
2️⃣ To honor myself as a woman created and loved by God.
3️⃣ To bring beauty to God
4️⃣ To keep my focus on God
5️⃣ To be a bride during the Communion procession 👰🏻‍♀️

It’s not about the veil itself.

It’s about what the veil reminds my heart to do.

To become smaller.

To become still.

To remember Who I am standing before.

To adore.

To receive.

To love.

So, do you veil at Holy Mass? 🤍
