Greetings friends!

As the dawn of 11th Edition approaches, we at ADD TO CART WARGAMING look back fondly on what has been an eventful and memorable end to the 10th edition of Warhammer 40K.

—TEAMS RESULTS—

We ushered in 2026 with a bang, competing at our first ever international Teams event, the ASIA TEAMS WARHAMMER 40K held at Phuket, Thailand. ATCW flew over a strong contingent, bannered by Golden Ticket holders Francis Fernandez and Agus Duran. Martin Lamsen, Dan Higwit, Max Gana, and captain Mark Fernandez rounded out our representatives, with Mark heroically intervening to replace the unfortunate last-minute drop of Alexis Sulit. In addition to the members competing under the ATCW banner, we had Jeriah Montano and PJ Bernabe bolstering the roster of our good friends at Killing Matsings, who had also made the flight to Phuket.

We had a rough Day 1 against some of the best teams in Southeast Asia, but successfully bounced back on Day 2 to secure a midtable 14th place finish, just slightly above our compatriots. The intensity of competition at ASIA TEAMS, camaraderie with regional peers, and experience of traveling together set a benchmark for what we wanted to achieve as an organization.

Additionally, we had such a pleasant time playing with Killing Matsings in Thailand that we happily welcomed members Mark Yam, Zep Tiu, Carlo Chua, and captain Marjohn Buncio into our team for future events.

In March, Add to Cart Wargaming, with its newly expanded roster, was then able to field two teams at the biggest local Teams tournament, the TIGAS TEAM TOURNAMENT III, held at Atelier Tabletop Brewspace in Quezon City. One team was captained by Agus, and featured Zep, Mark Y., Carlo, Alexis, AJ Reyes, Ben Uychua, and guest player Jason Bautista. Meanwhile, Jeriah led ATCW’s second team with Doc Francis, Marjohn, Dan, PJ, Max, Nakar Elumba and guest player JC Sangalang. Martin was present at the tournament as well, participating as a first-time captain, for our sister team Gauntlet Gang.

In the end, ATCW staked its claim as the best team in the Philippines, with Team Jeriah prevailing over Team Agus, as both squads finished in 1st and 2nd. Our perennial rivals, the kings of the South, the Black Komodos rounded out the top 3, over a competitive field that included the experienced Old Dogz and the hungry Gauntlet Gang representatives.

—GT RESULTS—

With our Teams events out of the way, ATCW set its sights on individual glory — Golden Tickets to the Warhammer 40K Championship to be held in Barcelona. Our members competed in 3 major tournaments to start the year, the LAST STAND OF THE NORTH GT in Baguio, GEEK+POP GT in Makati, and the ARMORED KOMODO GT: TRIALS OF STRENGTH in Las Piñas, all with Golden Tickets at stake.

In April, at the LAST STAND OF THE NORTH, ATCW ran rampant and swept all 3 podium spots, with all 6 of our representatives finishing in the top 9 of the biggest tournament in Northern Luzon. Zep Tiu piloted his beloved Subterranean Assault Tyranids to first place with a 4-1 record, and bagged both the Gold Medal and a Golden Ticket. Marjohn Buncio and his mechanized menace of a Pactbound Zealots list actually handed Zep his only loss of the tournament, but he was edged out on overall points and finished in second place. Dan Higwit bucked an early loss on Day 1 and finished third with his Black Spear Task Force Deathwatch army.

Our foray at the 51-man GEEK+POP tourney in May was equally fruitful, as ATCW again cornered the Golden Ticket, and 5 out of the top 10 spots at the biggest GT in the Philippines. The final match to determine 1st place was an all-ATCW affair, as last year’s #1 ITC player Agus Duran’s Mont’ka T’au defeated Death Guard master Mark Yam’s Tallyband Summoners. Agus finished 6-0 and first overall, while Mark’s sole loss of the tournament secured him third place. Carlo Chua and PJ Bernabe carried identical 5-1 records to 4th and 5th place, while Marjohn and Jeriah Montano finished 9th and 10th with their 4-2 tallies.

The final GT before the dawn of 11th edition was the ARMORED KOMODO GT: TRIALS OF STRENGTH, hosted at the start of this month by our friends the Black Komodos.
They defended their home turf fiercely, and used their mastery of WTC terrain layouts to stymie another ATCW sweep and potential Golden Ticket. However, Zep, using his Red Terror-reinforced Tyranids, continued his end of edition hot streak and nabbed first place with a perfect 5-0 record. Marjohn, Carlo and PJ couldn’t break the Komodos’ grasp on the remaining podium places at this GT, but they still finished right outside the winners’ circle in 5th, 6th and 7th respectively.

And now, with the 10th edition of 40K wrapped up, ATCW readies itself for the emergent competitive meta of the incoming edition. Already, a “home” GT awaits us in August, the DAWN OF ARMAGEDDON GT at Atelier Tabletop Brewspace, with the first Golden Ticket of the new edition on the line. Our hibernating members are waking up in anticipation of this fresh tournament scene, joining the preparations and discussions of our active grinders, as we look forward to a hopefully fruitful second half of the year. Lastly, we heartily thank our friends and (occasional) sponsors Atelier Tabletop Brewspace, MJB Meat Processing Inc, and Merced Bakehouse, for supporting us as we push competitive 40K boundaries here in the Philippines!

See you guys on the battlefield! (sans round objective markers)

The 10th’s Final Forging

As the fires of the forge begin to dim and the last masterpieces emerge from the anvil, the age of 10th Edition draws to its close.

The Ironbound Tournament: The 10th’s Final Forging has been concluded.

Twenty worthy ores were cast into the roaring flames of battle, tested through fire, steel, and strategy. Only six champions emerged from the crucible, their names forever etched into the annals of the forge.

🏆 Final Standings

Champion — Carlo Manalac

Leading the relentless Tyranid swarm, Carlo unleashed the terror of the Hive Mind upon his foes. With the Red Terror burrowing through enemy lines and devastation following in its wake, he claimed the title of Champion of the Final Forging.

2nd Place — P.J. Bernabe

Commanding the forces of the Chaos Space Marines, P.J. marched to war under the gaze of Abaddon the Despoiler. Backed by a devastating triple Defiler gunline, his enemies were reduced to ruin and ash.

3rd Place — RDSJ

The sons of Caliban stood resolute as RDSJ led the Dark Angels, with both the Lion and Azrael at the forefront. Through discipline, firepower, and righteous fury, he secured a place among the forge’s elite.

4th Place — Carlo Chua

T’au Empire

5th Place — Raphael Don Arias

Chaos Daemons

6th Place — JP Monson

Thousand Sons

The forge may cool, and the curtain may fall on 10th Edition, but this is not the end.

A new age rises on the horizon. New wars will be fought. New legends will be forged.

The Dawn of Armageddon Awaits

Prepare your armies, gather your allies, and sharpen your blades.

Next Event: Dawn of Armageddon Grand Tournament
📅 August 29–30, 2026

The forge shall burn once more.

See you on the battlefields of Armageddon.

Debriefing Protocol Initiated.
After the dust settles and the dice fall silent, the truth of the battlefield remains.
Our warriors have returned from another hard-fought engagement—armor scratched, spirits tempered, and lessons carved into the iron of experience.
Here is the after-action report from the latest clash of steel, strategy, and sheer willpower.

Debrief Report from Captain Max:

Team Captain Max, how were the games last tourney?

“Great tournament to cap off the year!
It was an honor to captain three of the best players in the Philippines against such a stacked field including some of our own teammates.
We executed the pairing strategy we prepped over the past weeks almost perfectly… up until the final round. In the last matchups, we had to pivot fast and adjust to new information that developed throughout the day.
While we positioned ourselves to win all our pairings, we didn’t push hard enough both offensively and defensively. Since the overall winner was decided by VP tiebreaker, that small gap cost us the top slot… and a few extra store credits!
Still, it gives us a lot to reflect on and refine as we prepare for the next wave of team tournaments.

Who were the toughest opponents for your team?

“Our toughest opponents were… ourselves. Literally and figuratively.
Against the five other ATC players in the event, we only pulled off one win. It just shows how deep and scary the ATC roster truly is. It’s exciting to imagine how far we can all still grow.
On the exhaustion side—Dan and I were running on a combined 6 hours of sleep, and Doc. Francis sprinted from morning work straight into the battles.
Sorry to Martin, our lone beacon of proper sleep discipline! 😆
That said, our other opponents brought serious firepower.
Warhommies shocked us with creative lists that forced us to rethink our strategies (my match into Niño was a nightmare).
RD was a monster—captaining the mixed team and dropping back-to-back 20–0s in the first two rounds. His performance forced us to specifically adjust our game plan when we faced them.
Facing competition this sharp is exactly what makes ATC stronger.”

What can we expect from ATCW in the upcoming team events?

“January’s lineup is locked in, but beyond that we’ll likely field a younger, hungrier ATCW roster.
Jeriah and Nakar are rising stars who deserve frontline spots, and ITC #1 Agus—who couldn’t attend this event—will definitely be back in the mix.
I’ll probably be shifting into a non-playing role for those future outings, haha!
What this tournament really showed is the depth of ATCW. Whatever lineup we field, we’re confident our team will show up strong and make us proud.”

The debrief is complete. The lessons are logged.
But war never ends only pauses.
Our blades will be sharper, our resolve harder, and our strategies deadlier when the next engagement begins.

Until then, commanders… prepare. The next battle is already on the horizon.
For in the grimdark future, there is only war.

The battle is over—and what a war it was!
We may have fallen short of the top podium but claiming 2nd Place at The Team Gauntlet – Nov 22, 2025, at Atelier Tabletop Brewspace, was no small feat. Our warriors fought through every charge, volley, and skirmish with grit and discipline worthy of the tabletop battlefield.

This was a hard-fought campaign, and every member gave their all. This result is just the beginning—a warm-up for the wars ahead. The experience we gained here will forge us sharper, stronger, and ready to climb even higher in the next engagements.

Player Battle Highlights – Team ATCW

Dan – The Dedicated Attacker, Space Marine Specialist

Dan, one of the country’s finest Space Marine commanders, executed his role with precision—charging headfirst into the toughest matchups to generate max points for the team. He came just inches away from a perfect 3–0, but was halted only by RD, the man many now call the “Chapter Master of Space Marines in the Philippines.”
Still, Dan delivered big where it mattered and kept the scoreboard burning in ATCW’s favor.

Doc. Francis – The Tech-Priest of Adaptation (Adeptus Mechanicus)

Running one of the hardest armies in the game, Doc. Francis piloted the Adeptus Mechanicus with his trademark calm and deadly precision.
He was blunted early by PJ (yes—our very own Custodes player reinforcing our brother team), but came back with two decisive victories, securing critical VP for ATCW.
A masterclass in resilience and battlefield recalibration.

Max – The Captain, Wielder of Grey Knight Psychic Might

Captain Max once again showcased elite-level command, using the psychic and teleportation dominance of the Grey Knights to carve through opponents.
He only dropped points against Nakar, one of the country’s rising Drukhari prodigies, but rebounded with two strong wins to anchor ATCW’s final push to 2nd place.
Leadership through battlefield mastery.

Martin – The Defender, The Wall of Flesh and Rot (Death Guard)

Martin held the line as ATCW’s unbreakable bulwark—using the unyielding resilience of the Death Guard to deny enemy scoring, clog lanes, and grind down elite threats.
Only one player managed to breach the wall: Jeriah, the Gatekeeper, fielding ranks of Guardsmen and the crushing might of Rogal Dorn tanks.
Even so, Martin’s defensive play kept opponents boxed in and secured key points for the team.

Every role mattered. Every point counted.

This is how ATCW fights—each member executing their battlefield job with discipline and grit.

Not a shabby performance at all—well played, Team ATCW!
And of course, massive congratulations to our brother team, Gauntlet Gang, for taking the championship!

Onward to the next war. The dice will roll again.

ATC On Session!
A rare momentous occasion where most of the members showed up as we gear up for a whole lineup of domestic and international tournaments this coming season!

Special thanks to Doc. Francis “Barnlord” Fernandez for dropping some serious knowledge bombs about his WCW experience — from the global game climate, to the shifting Metas, to what the world’s top players are picking and why, as well as the excellent sportsman culture he experienced.

Some members couldn’t make it, Pj, Aj, and Jigs and to the ones on hiatus, but the power of intel relay keeps the whole squad sharp. Knowledge is tech—pass it on, level up together.

This session was pure gold for all our active members (and those re-activating for the season!). The road ahead looks intense, but with prep like this, we’re more than ready.

Next Up: Pre-Season Skirmishes — time to test lists, sharpen tactics, and warm up the dice before the real battles begin.

Onward to the battles ahead!
Let the dice roll in our favor!
