HAPPY WORLD VOLLEYBALL DAY

The Pilar Volleyball Club (PVC) delivered an impressive performance in the San Juan One-Day League 2026, held in Tudela on June 13, 2026, earning the distinction of 1st Runner-Up among 11 participating teams.

Throughout the tournament, PVC displayed exceptional teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship, successfully advancing against strong competition and securing a place in the championship match. Their achievement stands as a testament to the team’s dedication and continuous pursuit of excellence in the sport.

The club also extends its sincere appreciation to Charles Peterson, SK Chairman of Southern Poblacion, Tudela, Cebu, for the invitation and support extended to the team during the event.

Despite falling just short of the championship, PVC’s runner-up finish is a proud accomplishment that highlights the growing strength of volleyball in Pilar and serves as an inspiration for aspiring athletes in the community.

Thank you, Barangay Dapdap, for the opportunity to showcase our talent on the volleyball court. It may have fallen short of bringing home the title against DNHSMVT, but the experience, teamwork, and memories we gained are more than enough to be proud of.

The Pilar Volleyball Club Christmas League 2025 was a beautiful celebration of teamwork, passion, and holiday spirit.

Heartfelt thanks to our amazing players who gave their all on the court, and to everyone who supported and made this league possible—especially the players from Ormoc City, our neighboring town, who traveled just to share in the joy of the game.

Grateful for the memories, the friendships formed, and the love for volleyball. Merry Christmas, and cheers to more matches and moments ahead!

First, let's shine the spotlight on Jaysher Prince Tesing, our young and talented setter, hailing from Dapdap National High School. With a proven track record of representing the municipality of Pilar in the provincial meet for two consecutive years, Jaysher is set to bring his expertise in deception and finesse to the court. Watch out for this rising star as he orchestrates plays with precision and poise!

And then, there's Xydric Quirol, our promising middle blocker, with dreams as big as the UAAP stage! Xydric's passion and dedication to the sport are truly inspiring, and we have no doubt he'll make waves in the volleyball world. With his raw talent and unwavering commitment, Xydric is sure to block his way to success!

Kyle Tanza, a seasoned veteran and long-term member of the club, is poised to dominate both defense and offense. With his expertise, he will unleash powerful attacks that will leave opponents scrambling.

Joining forces with Kyle is Jemz Oman Borja, a skilled hitter with a knack for scoring crucial points. Together, they form an unstoppable duo, orchestrating a symphony of spikes and blocks that will mesmerize the crowd.
