𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | July 20, 2026

On July 18, participants of the Maxwell Pasig Next Gen Leadership Camp gathered for the third Saturday session, where Mr. Alvaro F. Fabon Jr. shared valuable insights on leadership through two inspiring talks.

The first session, "Are You a River or Are You a Flood?", emphasized the importance of leading with purpose and direction. Just as a river nurtures growth, leaders who have a clear vision create meaningful and lasting impact.

The second session, "Be a Good Host, Not a Guest," focused on the essence of servant leadership—taking initiative, creating opportunities, and making others feel valued. It also reminded participants that great leaders listen more than they speak, choosing to understand and empower others rather than simply highlighting their own achievements.

The day concluded with a powerful reflection: leadership is shaped by the choices we make every day. Whether we choose to lead with purpose like a river or serve others with humility like a good host, every small decision contributes to the kind of leader we become.

Meet 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐧, the official mascot of the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲. An anthropomorphic wolf inspired by the spirit of the Dauntless Wolves of the College of Computer Studies.

More than just a mascot, 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐧 represents 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐂𝐒 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫. As we begin a new chapter this academic year, 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐧 is here to join us in every milestone, event, and achievement.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | July 15, 2026

Yesterday, the Computer Society successfully held its deliberation at the Student Success Office (SSO) together with the organization's newly appointed appointees.

The deliberation served as an opportunity to discuss the responsibilities and expectations of each member, align the organization's goals, and strengthen collaboration as everyone prepares for the upcoming academic year. Through productive discussions and the active participation of both officers and appointees, ideas were exchanged, plans were refined, and a shared commitment to serving the PLP community was reinforced.

With the successful conclusion of the deliberation, the Computer Society takes another step forward in building a united, dedicated, and service-driven team that is ready to create meaningful programs and initiatives for the students.

On July 11, members of the PLP Computer Society continued their journey at the Maxwell Pasig Next Gen Leadership Camp 2026.

The second day featured interactive activities and sharing sessions that encouraged participants to collaborate with students from different organizations.

Through these experiences, they built new connections, exchanged ideas, and gained valuable insights on teamwork and leadership.

On July 6, the newly elected officers of the PLP Computer Society officially took their oath during the Oath-Taking Ceremony held at the PLP Auditorium.

The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, service, and commitment. As they officially assume their roles, the officers are ready to work together in serving the student community with integrity, dedication, and excellence.

On July 5, the Computer Society participated in the Maxwell Pasig Next Gen Leadership Camp 2026, where they took part in the first leadership session, "Building Character and Leadership from the Inside Out."

The session emphasized that effective leadership begins with self-leadership—developing integrity, resilience, and character before leading others. Through engaging discussions and meaningful learning experiences, our delegates gained valuable insights that will help them grow as future leaders and contribute positively to both the organization and the university community.

As they continue their leadership journey, they're committed to fostering individuals who lead with purpose, character, and excellence.
