Four Albay Pass It Back Youth Make PRFU Rugby 7s Debut

Travelling from Albay, Vhinjie Bataller, Roman Teodoro, Lawrence Laus, and Gerald Belano joined the Albay Bulkans 7s team and helped secure third place in the Men’s Development Division with a 22-10 win over the Manila Carabaos at the 2026 PRFU 7s Leg 1 on August 22.

“Dream team po talaga yung makasama dito,” said former Pass It Back Youth Gerald Belano.

Makati Mavericks and Manila Nomads Lead 2026 PRFU 7s Leg 1

SKF Makati Mavericks Women’s and Men’s Development Team, and Manila Nomads in Men’s Premiership, lead the 2026 PRFU 7s Leg 1 held at the Philsports Complex on Aug. 22.

SKF Makati Mavericks Women’s finished Leg 1 with a commanding 38–7 win against Eagles RFC, while its Men’s Development Team edged Manila Hapons, 15–12.

Manila Nomads closed the first leg with a 19–10 win against Eagles RFC, concluding the high-stakes action of Leg 1.
