GABALDON FC at the Cuenca World Cup 2026

Another unforgettable journey, another chapter of growth, determination, and teamwork for Gabaldon Football Club.

Our players proudly represented our club at the Cuenca World Cup 2026, where they showcased not only their football skills but also the heart, discipline, and resilience that define every Gabaldon FC player.

🥉 U16 Division – 3rd Place
After finishing 4th in the elimination round, our U16 squad faced the 3rd-ranked team in the battle for bronze. The match ended in a thrilling scoreless draw, sending both teams into a nerve-racking penalty shootout. With composure, confidence, and determination, Gabaldon FC U16 emerged victorious, securing a well-deserved 3rd Place finish.

🏅 U14 Division – 4th Place
Our U14 team also earned a spot in the battle for 3rd. Despite giving everything they had on the field, they narrowly fell short with a 1–0 defeat, finishing as 4th Place. While the result wasn't what they hoped for, their courage and fighting spirit made the entire Gabaldon FC family proud.

⚽ U12 A Division
The U12 A squad showed tremendous improvement throughout the tournament. After strong performances in their previous matches, they unfortunately fell short in their final elimination game, missing a semifinal berth. Although the journey ended earlier than expected, the experience gained will serve as fuel for future success.

🥉 U12 B Division – 3rd Place
Our U12 B team displayed incredible determination from start to finish. They finished 2nd in Group B and advanced to face the 1st-ranked team from Group A in the semifinals. Although they were defeated in that match, they refused to let disappointment define them. In the battle for 3rd, they faced the very same team that had beaten them—and this time, the tables turned. With outstanding teamwork and confidence, Gabaldon FC U12 B claimed a convincing 2–0 victory, earning another 3rd Place finish for the club.

Every player, coach, and parent contributed to this memorable campaign. Wins and losses are all part of the beautiful game, but what truly matters is the courage to keep fighting, the willingness to learn, and the commitment to grow together as one family.

To our players, remember this: Champions are not only measured by the trophies they bring home, but by the character they build through every challenge they overcome.Every setback is a lesson, every victory is a reward for hard work, and every tournament is another opportunity to become stronger than yesterday.

Congratulations to all our players, coaches, supportive parents, and everyone who continues to believe in the vision of Gabaldon FC. This is only the beginning. We will continue to train harder, dream bigger, and represent our community with pride.
