ANTIPOLO, Philippines — T30 Fixedgear pushed their limits on the steep inclines of Hinulugang Taktak, staging an intense climb training session anchored by team leaders Bray Diwa and Glen Reduccion.

​Designed to build power and stamina on single-speed machines, the session tested the crew against Antipolo’s notoriously punishing grades.

Training Breakdown
​The Terrain: Hinulugang Taktak features short, punchy gradients exceeding 10%, forcing riders to rely entirely on momentum, cadence, and brute upper-body leverage—since fixed-gear setups offer no gear shifting.

​Pacing & Leadership: Diwa and Reduccion set a relentless pace from the base, guiding the riders through interval repeats to build high-torque power and mental endurance under heavy fatigue.

​Focus Areas: The drill prioritized out-of-the-saddle effort management, smooth pedal stroke control during heavy load, and high-speed stability on the descent using backpedaling and skid modulation.

​With Diwa and Reduccion driving the pace, T30 Fixedgear continues to harden their roster for upcoming criterion and long-distance fixed-gear challenges.
