"P4A pulls an upset to force a decisive game"
What a back and forth affair that took place in our final game, where P4A upsets second seeded LPA to force a "Win or Go Home" game to advance to the semifinals to face P2A. It was a heated matchup as both teams made clutch plays in the end. LPA held the lead most of the game with the help of Nephi Obero who ended up with 25 points soar high against the big guns of P4A. Mythical Five awardee Dallin Coronel chipped in 18 points to end the third quarter with a 14-point deficit. But the "Slash Brothers" Joshua Inventor and Jayr Suzuki lifted their team and made key stops to tie the ball game with 3 minutes remaining. It was their team defense that was led by their secret weapon, Jayvee Tamonang and fastbreak points that sealed the game and overcome a big lead to force a decisive game against LPA. Both Jayr Suzuki and Joshua Inventor scored 21 and 16 a piece with the team's balance scoring. Even without their "Greg Popovich Coach" Jeq Laiño, they had showed poised and determination through the end.
P4A goes back on their homecourt for the decisive game against LPA.

"P2A's Inside presence dominated the game"
The big boys of P2A led them to advance to the semifinals and beat the athletic P1A by 11 points. Aaron Tañola sparked their rally by ending up with 19 points. Defense Player of The Year Awardee Michael Viray chipped in with 18 points and 13 rebounds. The strong inside presence of P2A helped them seal the win. Even though P1A made a run with the help of the PSBL 2017 MVP Philip Hagape who dropped 21 big points to help them inch closer in tying the ball game but unfortunately, they came up short. Playing without their all-star players like Aaron Castillo and Alvir Batanes ended their season fighting a good battle. P2A now advances to Bracket A's semifinals. Now their waiting for the winner of the matchup of LPA vs P4A.
When asked what preparation for the semifinals will they do, Aaron Tañola just said, "No Mercy". A very bold statement from the young player. Now, P2A is excited to go hard and play for their ward's pride and honor.

"No Effort Was Wasted"
Though P1B lost by default, they gave P4B a heck of a game. Jasper Erdaje and his band of brothers kept on fighting until the end and came out with the victory. The team gave us a show as they led throughout the game. Even though, the very explosive P4B displayed a terrific comeback, these young boys stayed focus until the end. Vicente scored 18 points in his return on the team while Mythical Team awardee finished with 13 points. While Vlad Olayao of P4B led the team with 14 points. It was indeed a fun game to watch as both teams gave their best. No effort was wasted in this game.
Now, the rivalry of P4B and P3B heats up as they will face each other in a knockout semifinals.

"It's the Playoffs"
We have a great showdown for you tomorrow!
But first we will be having our first ever, PSBL Awarding Ceremony. Get a chance to see our first ever MVP and all other awards that will be given.
For our first game, the dominant P4B will open their playoffs having a twice-to-beat advantage against Olivarez College guard Joshua Almajeda and the P1B who is coming as the fourth seed. Will P4B advance to the semifinals easily or will P1B give them a game?
For our second game, the towering P1A will try to get themselves a win and eliminate the athletic P1A. Can P1A live to fight another day or will P2A grab this must win playoff game?
And for our final game, P4A will get a just for redemption and go against the sharpshooter Dallin Coronel and LPA. Will P4A get their redemption or will LPA bring their A-game to move to the semis?

"PSBL All-Star Game 2017 at Kabihasnan Chapel"
An exciting weekend we have for you this week. The wait is over! Best of Team A against the best of Team B will go head to head this coming Saturday, November 11, 2017, 6:00 pm at Kabihasnan Chapel. This weekend will start by having our first ever three point shootout that is led by Dallin Coronel of LPA. He will be joined by Mark Erdaje, Jorest Abuyuan, Choler Perida, Michael Fernandez, Ronmark Sanchez, Paulo Valenzuela, Renz Coronel, Santiago Tiu, Virgilio Alalay, Aaron Aves and Edwin Serran. Let's watch as they let it fly from rainbow country.
After watching those amazing shooters, the anticipated PSBL All-Star Game which is consists of the top ballers of the Team A against the top ballers of Team B. Team A is represented by their starting five namely, Philip Hagape, Renz Coronel, Choler Perida, Dallin Coronel and Michael Viray. Of course amazing players will be coming off their bench like Paul Go, Heizel Puyogao, Ronmark Sanchez, Aaron Castillo, Nephi Obero, Yuki Suzuki, Jeq Laiño, Mark Santos, Justine Villegas, Aaron Aves, Darren Abranilla and featuring "The Little Mamba" CSKC guard Jacob Ilagan.
While the players who will be balling for Team B is headed by their elite starting five namely, Virgilio Alalay, Paulo Valenzuela, PC Teodosio, Rafael Saludes and reigning MVP and Olivarez College guard Joshua Almajeda. Also playing off their bench like Justin Ballada, Jun Macabanting, JonJon Marquez, Mark Marquez, Santiago Tiu, Amir Olayao, Mark Manahan, Jasper Erdaje, Jorest Abuyuan, Dave Gamulo, Michael Fernandez and leading MVP candidate Mike Caubalejo.

Excited for the playoffs? We got a treat for everyone! Pump up your breaks and get hype for the first ever PSBL All- Star Weekend 2017.
We will begin the weekend by watching the best shooters this stake has to offer as they go head to head to become the Three Point King. The Three Point Contest is consists of players like Mark Erdaje, Jorest Abuyuan, Cho Per, Midz Fernandez, Ronmark Sanchez, Paulo Valenzuela, Renz Coronel, Santiago Tiu, Dallin Arion Joseph Dallin Coronel, Virgilio Bufete Alalayy, Aaron Leigh Aves and Edwin Abranilla Serran who will be participating. Let's all watch as this great shooters let it fly from downtown.
