Aiden the sad boy: Bakit 6th ako? Alam ko 5th ako.😢
Mommy: Nag-chill ka sa finish line eh. From my POV naunahan ka talaga, it’s ok.
Daddy: Hindi, 5th talaga sya nakita ko. (Pero walang video, walang proof)😂 Sige ok lang yan. 😆
Few minutes later, Ragasa fam came to us and showed the video of the finish line that Aiden’s wheel came first. I am deeply moved with their honesty and humility, it’s very rare for a parent of this sport to accept defeat and exchange their child’s podium placement to another child.
At the end of the day, kindness wins! Sports is not always about winning, titles will fade, but the lessons in every journey will remain.
