🌐 2nd METRO NORTH REGIONAL COUNCIL MEETING 🌐

​Another milestone of collaboration and leadership! JCI Marilaw proudly participated in and co-hosted the 2nd Metro North Regional Council Meeting. Hosted alongside JCI Marilao Marilag, the virtual assembly took place on June 23–24, 2026, via Zoom.

​The two-day council meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the region, highlighted by the Report of the Regional Vice President with RVP Ina Villarica and individual Local Organization updates. Our very own Local Organization President, Pres. Mc De Jesus, presented the official chapter report for JCI Marilaw, showing our steadfast alignment with the region's goals for the term.

​This gathering reaffirmed the strong synergy among the Metro North chapters, providing an excellent venue to exchange best practices, align upcoming program strategies, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood across the region.
​Thank you to all the local organization presidents, regional officers, and delegates who joined us to ensure a smooth and highly productive meeting!

Last June 2, 2026, members of JCI Marilaw actively participated in and successfully co-hosted "Communicate with Confidence: Diplomacy and Cross-Cultural Communication" under The Leadership Lab series! 🚀✨

Hosted by JCI Lipa, this highly insightful virtual training featured an incredible learning session with none other than Mark Joseph David (2025 JCI Executive Vice President for Asia and the Pacific), who shared invaluable insights on overcoming communication barriers and mastering the skills of a diplomatic leader.

Thank you, JCI Lipa, for collaborating with us on this wonderful opportunity to continuous learning and leadership development! Cheers to more Local Organizations training sessions that empower our members to lead with confidence. 💙🦅

Opportunity to Impact (OTI) | June 27, 2026

Every great leader starts with a single opportunity.

JCI Marilaw welcomed aspiring changemakers to our Opportunity to Impact (OTI)—an inspiring introduction to the JCI movement and the countless ways young active citizens can create meaningful change in their communities.

Centered around the theme "Youth Leadership: Grow, Support and Empower," participants gathered at the Diamond Hall, Marilao Municipal Bldg in Brgy. Patubig. Through shared stories, meaningful conversations, and a glimpse into the values and mission of JCI, our attendees discovered that leadership is not about titles, but about taking action and making a difference.

To everyone who joined us this Saturday, thank you for taking the first step. We look forward to seeing you grow, lead, and create positive change alongside the JCI Marilaw family.

6th GMM: Seizing Opportunities, Measuring Impact! 🚀

Immediately following the productive Opportunity to Impact facilitation and discussion, JCI Marilaw officially transitioned to conduct its 6th General Membership Meeting (GMM) on June 27, 2026. This seamless continuation allowed our brothers to immediately take the ideas and momentum from our development session and channel them directly into our organizational planning.

Our main agenda focused on:

Post-Facilitation Alignment — Turning the insights gained from the Opportunity to Impact discussion into concrete action items.

Project Status & Strategic Planning — Reviewing our ongoing initiatives to ensure we stay on track for the rest of the term.

Open Forum & Feedback — Collaborating on new ideas to continuously uplift our local community.

From a highly engaging strategic discussion on stage to planning around the table and sharing great fellowship over food, the day was a powerful testament to our shared dedication.

5th GMM: Aligning Goals, Driving Impact! 🚀

​Last 29th of May 2026 (Last Saurtday of the month) , JCI Marilaw successfully conducted its 5th General Membership Meeting (GMM) at Lil Bean Cafe. It was a highly productive afternoon dedicated to strategic planning, project updates, and team collaboration.

​Our main agenda focused on:

​Project Updates & Team Discussion — Reviewing our recent initiatives to ensure smooth ex*****on.

​Goal Setting & Action Planning — Mapping out our next steps to continuously create a positive community impact.

​Questions & Feedback — Opening the floor for collaborative ideas and open discussion.

​From aligning our targets to sharing a great fellowship over coffee, our brothers (Online Joined and Physical Joined) showed up ready to lead and inspire. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend and contribute to the growth of our Local Organization!

BREAKTHROUGH 2026: SUSTAINING INNOVATION THROUGH COLLABORATION

Supporting bold ideas and active citizenship!

Last April 21, 2026, JCI Marilaw was honored to serve as a co-host for JCI Marilao Marilag’s flagship project: "Breakthrough 2026: Shark Tank Marilaw Marilag Innovations" held via Zoom.

This excellent initiative by our sister chapter provided a dynamic arena for young leaders to pitch bold ideas, get insights, and build real opportunities for sustainable development. As part of the program, we were also given a wonderful platform to share the History of JCI Marilaw, further strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and collaboration between our chapters.

As documented in the event flyers and screenshots, the virtual room was full of synergy, creativity, and passion from both hosting teams.
