MEYCIPRISA 2025 – Tournament Recap

Another set of medals were brought home by the dedicated players of Triple 8 Team J after an impressive showing at the MEYCIPRISA 2025 tournament. The event highlighted the team’s continued dominance, discipline, and passion for badminton.

Selwyn Rabe and Anjo Paclibar from Trinitas College (ABS) delivered a strong performance in the Secondary Boys Doubles category, securing the championship title after a series of well-fought matches. In the Singles division, Kobe Custodio and John Cristian Mendoza, both from Trinitas College (ABS), proved their consistency and skill by each capturing the Secondary Boys Singles Champion titles.

From St. Michael Academy (NLBA), Ira Lim Jr. showcased great determination, finishing as the 1st Runner-Up in Secondary Boys Singles. Representing Meycauayan College (ABS), Matthew Nelius Eusebio earned 2nd Runner-Up in the same category after a solid run throughout the tournament.

In the girls’ division, Hannah Almendarez from Meycauayan College (ABS) demonstrated her composure and effort, finishing as the 1st Runner-Up in Secondary Girls Singles.

Triple 8 Team J extends its pride to all the players for their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship that once again brought honor to their respective schools and the team.

🏸 Coach Angel’s Cup 2025 – Tournament Recap 🏸

What an incredible run at the Coach Angel’s Cup 2025 — a weekend filled with thrilling rallies, determination, and true sportsmanship. Our athletes once again showed what hard work and passion can achieve! 💪

Leading the charge was Mike Zian Abendan from NLBA, who played with focus and confidence to capture the Champion title in 10U Boys Singles. 🥇 His effort and dedication definitely showed on court!

In the 12U Boys Doubles, Mike Zian Abendan and his partner from NLBA also proved their teamwork and consistency, finishing as 1st Runner-Up after a series of intense matches. 🥈

From ABS/MAPUA, Crissa Nieto showed heart and determination in the 19U Girls Singles, earning the 1st Runner-Up spot after an impressive run against tough competition. 🥈

We’re beyond proud of how our players performed throughout the tournament. Every rally and every game reflected their dedication, effort, and love for the sport. 💙

🏸 Bulprisa District 2 Badminton Meet 2025 – Tournament Recap 🏸

What an exciting week it has been for our Triple 8 Team J players as they proudly represented their schools in the Bulprisa District 2 Badminton Tournament 2025! Each athlete showed their dedication, sportsmanship, and fighting spirit all throughout the competition — and they did not disappoint.

Leading the charge was Greco Gin Gabriel Bagunas from Barcelona Academy, who dominated the court and emerged as the Secondary Boys Singles Champion. 🥇

In the Elementary division, Mike Zian Abendan from Barcelona Academy also showcased impressive skills and determination, claiming the Elementary Boys Singles Champion title. 🥇

The winning streak continued as the duo Mier Paul Gabriel De Castro and Yael Frans Daniel De Castro, also from Barcelona Academy, showed great teamwork and secured the Elementary Boys Doubles Championship. 🥇

Meanwhile, Dominic Pornel and Stephen Mariano from Barcelona Academy fought hard in their category and finished strong as 2nd Runner-Up in Secondary Boys Doubles. 🥉

From Riveridge School, Juliana Ablaza stood out in the Secondary Girls Doubles, taking home the Champion title after a series of intense matches. 🥇

Adding to the medal tally, Eliah Jewel Boca of Barcelona Academy displayed her determination and finished as 2nd Runner-Up in Secondary Girls Singles. 🥉

And from Sto. Niño Academy, the sisters Alana Breindel Ocampo and Allynah Breanna Ocampo played with great chemistry and heart, earning 2nd Runner-Up in Secondary Girls Doubles. 🥉
