Kahit maulan, went out for a bit to get some takeout. Tried Habibi Kebab along C. Raymundo, then went to JB Friend Chicken along Sixto.

Naubusan ng whole chicken, and the wait was around 30 minutes, so choice cuts na lang. Got some lumpiang togue too.

Nung pauwi, medyo umintense ang traffic. 🌧️

August 26, 2013 — 13 years ago today.
Million People March. Yung feeling ko noon, parang pinasingaw lang yung galit ng tao. May nakulong, may nakalaya. Pero parang wala talagang accountability. Walang naturuan ng leksyon.

PDAF was abolished, pero nandiyan parin ang pork.

Pumunta ng Kuwa Bakery sa Marikina para bumili ng sourdough. Nung paalis na, nakita ko si Mon Marquez. May matcha shop pala sila, halos tapat lang ng Kuwa—A TEA KIOSK. Dumaan ako saglit; balik ako next time para ma-try yung ice cream. 🍵🍦

After that, dumaan din sa Marikina River bago umuwi. 🚲

Para sa mga hindi naka-follow nitong past few weeks, I’ve been using a Camp Snap camera. Screen-free digital camera siya, so walang preview habang kumukuha—shoot lang nang shoot, tapos saka mo makikita yung results. Nice din yung feeling na hindi mo alam agad kung ano yung kuha. Parang may konting surprise bawat shot. 📸

Shot these with my Camp Snap while I was out running an errand in Bridgetowne.

I made my own recipe for it last year and haven’t really changed it since—slightly greenish, neutral, and high-contrast. Camp Snap is a screen-free digital camera, so you just shoot and see the photos later. It brings back that old feeling of not knowing how the photos turned out until you get home.

I folded the bike, went straight to the shop, then took some random snaps along the way—a fallen tree that apparently has been there since last week (nobody knows kung anong klase na tree, maybe gemelina, mahogany?), and these weird little sprouting rebars on the sidewalk. Save ko yan on a different post.

Some of the shots are pretty bad. 😂 And that's exactly why this is fun.
