Royal Rumble Winner Prediction #2:
LA Knight
LA Knight is a compelling dark-horse pick to win the Royal Rumble.
“The Megastar” has been heavily rumored to receive a refreshed presentation, giving him the fresh start he may need heading into WrestleMania season. A surprise return in the Royal Rumble would be the perfect way to reintroduce him, especially after being sidelined since December 2025. WWE has often used the Rumble as a launching pad for reinvention, and Knight fits that mold perfectly.
Despite inconsistent booking, LA Knight has remained incredibly over with the WWE Universe for years. His crowd reactions rival those of top main-eventers, and while WWE has hesitated to fully strap the rocket to him, a Royal Rumble victory would instantly elevate him into WrestleMania’s top storyline. Winning the Rumble would force WWE’s hand and the payoff would be massive.
If Knight were to win, he would have several intriguing championship paths. A WrestleMania program with CM Punk practically writes itself. The two share history, elite mic skills, and a deep connection with the audience. Their contrasting personalities and verbal warfare would make for one of the most compelling builds on the card.
Alternatively, Knight could challenge for the WWE Undisputed Championship, depending on how the title picture shapes up. Whether it’s Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, or even Roman Reigns, Knight stepping into that spotlight would feel earned. His blue-collar swagger and anti-establishment charisma make him a natural foil for any top champion.
At this point, LA Knight doesn’t just want the opportunity, he’s earned it. A Royal Rumble win would validate years of organic fan support and finally cement him as a legitimate main-event player.
He deserves a run as a heavyweight champion.
And the WWE Universe is still saying it loud and proud:
L… A… Knight! YEAH! 👈🔥

Royal Rumble Winner Prediction #1:
Seth “Freakin” Rollins
With the way WWE has been leaning back into long-term storytelling, kayfabe finally feels alive again.
Seth Rollins has been out of action since late 2025 due to a leg/shoulder-related injury angle, making him the perfect candidate for a surprise Royal Rumble return. WWE loves these moments and Seth thrives in them.
Imagine this scenario:
Bron Breakker is on an absolute tear, eliminating competitors left and right with his allies backing him up. The crowd is worn down… then the buzzer hits.
🎵 “BURN IT DOWN!” 🎵
The arena explodes as The Visionary returns. Seth Rollins storms the ring, stares down Breakker, and eliminates him in a huge momentum-shifting moment. From there, Seth survives the chaos and wins the Royal Rumble for the second time.
Seth then settles unfinished business with Bron Breakker at Elimination Chamber, officially closing that chapter. At WrestleMania Vegas, Rollins chooses CM Punk, finally delivering the match that’s been brewing since Punk’s WWE return.
Let’s not forget: Seth Rollins vs CM Punk was already planned for WrestleMania 40, but Punk’s real-life triceps injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble (courtesy of Drew McIntyre) stopped it from happening. The story is still there. The tension never left.
Rollins winning the title, followed by a post-match handshake with Punk, would be the perfect way to end one of WWE’s most personal modern rivalries.
It’s a long shot but wrestling thrives on long shots.
And if rumors are true that AJ Styles could be wrestling his final match at the Royal Rumble, this year feels primed for big moments, big emotions, and one unforgettable surprise.
🔥 Don’t count out the Visionary. 🔥

This year’s Royal Rumble feels like the least hyped Rumble of the past decade.
Last year had built-in excitement with John Cena’s final Royal Rumble appearance, plus a stacked field featuring Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins, yet it still ended, in my opinion, with one of the most underwhelming Rumble wins ever: Jey Uso.
2024 and 2023 were driven by a clear and compelling narrative: Cody Rhodes’ journey to finally capture the WWE Championship. Fans were invested because the story had momentum long before the countdown clock hit zero.
2022 was personally exhausting as a fan. Brock Lesnar won the Rumble after already winning the WWE Championship at Day 1, only to lose it to Roman Reigns in the unification match. It felt repetitive and overbooked, with little room left for fresh contenders.
2021 stood out as a feel-good moment: Edge’s redemption, winning the Rumble after returning from retirement. That emotional payoff made the win matter.
2020 was Drew McIntyre’s breakout moment, eliminating then-champion Brock Lesnar and going on to win the match. While I appreciated Drew’s rise, I still felt frustrated that Brock once again dominated the spotlight instead of opening opportunities for others.
At its best, the Royal Rumble thrives on storytelling leading into the match. Without that narrative foundation, it risks becoming just another oversized battle royal.
That said, even with less hype and weaker build, the Rumble remains unpredictable, and that unpredictability alone makes it a 50/50 premium live event for me.
Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing my Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble predictions, along with thoughts on the matches booked for this year’s PLE.

I’m one of those Cody Crybabies HAHAHA
To be honest, with all the rumors circulating around online the past few days. I already knew the Rock would be turning heel BUT boy that heel turn was fu***ng insane.
The Rock made Roman his bitch. No, scratch that. He made everyone a bitch that presscon. This altercation can lead to a tag match between Seth and Cody v Roman and Rock
Nonetheless, the Road to WrestleMania will be one hell of a ride!

Now it seems like they are really going for Rock and Roman at WrestleMania 40.
What a waste of build up for Cody’s redemption story arc. If Cody chose Seth on this week’s Raw then the direction is clear. Roman will surpass Hogan this year.
I mean there’s nothing wrong with Cody winning the World Heavyweight championship, he deserves a belt around his waist. But the way it ended last year, it calls for a rematch and a redemption story. They even teased it when Cody and Jey are tag champs. What’s the point of all that?
The Rock is a draw but that doesn’t mean he can bypass Cody. Rock and Roman can happen at any major PLE after WM 40.
Thoughts on this one?

As per the Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar was supposed to enter the rumble at 20. Eliminating those who Bron Breakker had eliminated and then go on to get eliminated by Dirty Dom. This will set up a feud between Brock and Dominick Mysterio on Elimination Chamber. After this supposed feud, Brock will face Gunther at WrestleMania 40.
The change was made after Brock was involved with Vince’s sexual abuse case against Ms. Grant.
Honestly, it makes sense. I was pretty surprised when Bron eliminated Jimmy and Finn. A caliber like Jimmy and Finn should have been eliminated by some well known superstars like Jey and Cody.
On the brighter side, this has been more beneficial for Bron Breakker. He has shown potential that he can be a powerhouse on the main roster. As per Monday Night RAW, Bron Breakker is set to be called up to SmackDown.
For Dominick, I think it was supposed to be great opportunity for him since Brock is a high profile wrestler. Especially, if he will win that fight. It will propel him to a upper midcard push.

On the RAW after the Royal Rumble, CM PUNK, who returned at last year’s Survivor Series, has addressed the WWE universe that he will miss Wrestlemania 40 due to the torn right tricep he suffered from the recently concluded PLE.
Evidently, as many videos have surfaced online. The injury was said to be caused by the Future Shock DDT performed by Drew McIntyre. Now, WWE has capitalized on this and planted seeds for a CM Punk- Drew McIntyre rivalry in the future as seen from the encounter they had on last night’s RAW.
With CM Punk injured, it seems like WWE is leaning towards Drew to face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight championship at this year’s Wrestlemania. He has been on a winning streak for the past few weeks and has been dominant on the ring but we still have the Elimination Chamber coming up and we’ll see what unfolds from there.
We wish CM Punk a speedy recovery!
