The PUP Jiu-Jitsu Varsity Team continues to make its mark on the competition mats! 🔥Last July 13, 2026, our athletes proudly represented the university at the Manila International Jiu-Jitsu Open, bringing home an outstanding 2 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal through grit, discipline, and unwavering determination. ❤️💛

A huge congratulations to our medalists:

🥇Kyle Jereza – Gold Medal ( Adults Gi under 69 kg )
🥇 Carla Espera – Gold Medal ( Adults No-Gi under 46 kg )
🥈Carla Espera – Silver Medal ( Adults Gi under 48 kg )

Every match tested not only their technique but also their resilience, composure, and fighting spirit. These achievements are a testament to the countless hours spent training, pushing limits, and trusting the process. Your hard work continues to inspire the entire team, and we couldn't be prouder of what you've accomplished! 👏🏻
