For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been quiet, not because we had nothing to say, but because we were simply taking in and savoring every experience from the Girls’ U17 World Championship in Chile. 🇵🇭🏐

Bernardo Sports is deeply honored and grateful to have been part of the girls’ journey, even through our own small contributions toward the continued growth and advancement of Philippine Volleyball.

We may not always be loud about what we do. We simply choose to work quietly behind the scenes, give our best, and let the results speak for themselves.

𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗬𝗘𝗧!🏐🏁

The Alas Pilipinas Girls U17 national volleyball team just wrapped up a historic debut at the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U17 World Championship in Santiago, Chile, securing a phenomenal 15th-place finish overall. 🙌🏻

Entering the tournament ranked world No. 25, the young underdogs defied the odds in Pool B by pulling off spectacular wins against world No. 8 Mexico and sweeping No. 20 Tunisia to reach the Round of 16.

This milestone marks the highest global placement ever for any Philippine national volleyball squad in a world championship tournament. 💯

The team ended their run on a high note by stunning Czechia in four sets (21-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-22) to lock in the 15th spot.

Malayo pa pero malayo na.

From a small-town girl with a dream to a rising junior volleyball player competing on the world stage, this is exactly why Bernardo Sports exists. 🏐🌍

We may not always bring home the championship trophy, but our greatest achievement has never been measured by medals alone. Our true victory is helping young athletes believe in themselves, creating opportunities for them to grow, and watching their dreams become reality.

Seeing one of our own represent beyond our community is a reminder that with the right guidance, hard work, and unwavering support, no dream is too big.

This is more than volleyball. This is about building confidence, opening doors, and proving that big dreams can come from small towns.

The Philippines takes down a much bigger Australian squad in dominant fashion, sweeping the match in three straight sets:

Leading the charge was Ar-Raquib Dais, who erupted for 25 points, powering the Filipinos to a statement victory with his explosive offense and relentless energy.
