Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being our refuge and our strength.

When we feel pressured, tired, afraid, or uncertain, remind us that You are always present and ready to help. Give us courage when we are tested, patience when progress feels slow, and strength when we feel like giving up.

Help us stay calm under pressure and stand firm in what is right. Protect our athletes, coaches, families, and everyone in our dojang. May every challenge make us stronger, wiser, and more disciplined, while always remembering that our greatest source of strength comes from You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dojang Reflection:
Every athlete eventually faces pressure, on the mat, in competition, in training, and in life.

Taekwondo teaches us that when pressure comes, we do not panic. We stay balanced, control our breathing, protect ourselves, and respond with discipline.

Psalm 46:1 reminds us that our faith gives us an even stronger foundation.

God is our refuge when we feel overwhelmed and our strength when our own strength feels limited. True strength is not simply being powerful or never struggling. It is knowing where to stand when the struggle comes.

When pressure rises, return to your foundation.

Daily Challenge:
When something becomes difficult today, do not react immediately.

Pause. Breathe. Pray.

Then face the challenge with calmness, discipline, courage, and faith.

Coming very soon, we will officially open our own dedicated DG Taekwondo studio and new San Juan Headquarters at Baron Tower, San Juan City.

🥋 DID YOU KNOW? | DG TAEKWONDO WEEKLY FACT

Taekwondo is more than kicks, speed, and competition.

The word Taekwondo (태권도) is commonly understood through three parts:

Tae (태) — foot or kicking
Kwon (권) — fist or striking
Do (도) — the way, path, or discipline

That last word, “Do,” is important.

Taekwondo is not only about learning techniques. It is a lifelong practice of developing discipline, respect, self-control, perseverance, confidence, and character.

For our students, every class is another opportunity to improve not only in skill, but also in attitude, discipline, and respect for others.
