🇵🇭 Philippine riders continue to make their mark on the international stage!

We congratulate junior rider, Raines Gammon on another outstanding performance representing the Philippines at the Polo Fiesta 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Competing against some of Malaysia’s strongest riders, Raines delivered an impressive set of results:
🥇 1st Place – Six Bar with Kstar
🥈 2nd Place – 1.10m Special Two Phase with Kstar (which was won by her sister, Enky Gammon, on Commodore!)

Since 2025, Raines has proudly represented the Philippines in international competition, continuing to gain valuable experience while showcasing the talent and determination of Filipino equestrian athletes.

Stay tuned as Raines takes on the prestigious CSIJ-B Prime Minister’s Cup this weekend, a borrowed horse competition where she will be up against some of the best junior riders in Asia. She will also continue on and compete in the CSI1* classes aboard a leased horse from the wonderful Farinawati Mohd Din. Competing successfully with unfamiliar horses is a true testament to a rider’s adaptability, horsemanship, and skill. We would like to thank our coaches for this competition, Camila Lastrilla Curto Daniella Virata and Malaysia’s Nabil Ismail who helped the girls get familiar with their leased mounts.

We would especially like to thank the EAM - Equestrian Malaysia for organizing another excellent international competition, our Malaysian friends for being such wonderful hosts, and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) for their continued support of our national athletes and development of equestrian sport.

We wish Raines the very best of luck in this weekend’s competitions. The entire Philippine equestrian community is cheering you on!

🇵🇭 Representing the Philippines on the international stage.

The Equestrian Association of the Philippines congratulates Daniella Virata on representing our nation at the CSI1* AEF Mantena Cup in Indonesia last weekend. Riding Diacalido in the borrowed horse competition, Danni gained invaluable international experience while competing against some of the region’s most promising riders.

Competing internationally—particularly on an unfamiliar horse—demands adaptability, resilience, and composure, making every round a valuable learning experience.

Representing your country is an honour earned through dedication and hard work. We thank Danni for her commitment to Philippine equestrian sport and wish her continued success as she builds on this experience.

Congratulations to Philippine Young Rider, Sophia Louie Begre-Lacson, on her outstanding performance at Leg 2 of the FEI Asia-Pacific Rising Star Academy (APRA) in Pattaya, Thailand! She is one of only 11 riders from the Asia Pacific region who have been selected for this program in 2026.

The Asia-Pacific Rising Star Academy is the FEI Solidarity’s Regional Group VIII development program, bringing together the most promising young athletes from across Asia-Pacific through a series of training camps, educational workshops on horse welfare and competition preparation, and international competitions designed to prepare them for the elite level competition in Equestrian Jumping.

Competing against the region’s top young riders, and paired with borrowed horse Context 3, Sophia claimed 1st Place in the CSIJ-B Two-Phase Competition and finished 4th in the CSIJ-B Jump-Off Competition.

With 2 legs of this year-long program now complete, wish Sophia more success as she grows, along with the officials also nurtured through the program.

Congratulations, Sophia! 🇵🇭

Thank you to Thailand Equestrian Federation and Thai Polo Club for hosting this leg. And thank you to APRA - Asia-Pacific Rising Star Academy for supporting our young riders in the region.

Our very own FEI Level 4 Dressage Judge, Vittorio “Vic” Barba, was judge at C at the recent CDI Kronberg, Inter 1, Asian Trophy. The competition was so generously sponsored by B. Grimm; and gave riders from Asia an opportunity achieve their Minimum Eligibility Requirement (MER) for this year’s Asian Games in Japan.

Vic has been an active and important member of the EAP, an incredible ambassador for Dressage globally, and an integral part of the development and future of equestrian dressage in the Philippines and our region. We are most grateful to the organizing committee for including officials from our region in this competition, and look forward to the Asia Trophy continuing on in years to come.

Philippine Dressage Equestrienne, Marie Antonette “Toni” Leviste, was one of the riders who competed, and successfully achieved MERs on both her horses!

We are beyond proud of our Philippine judge and rider 🇵🇭
