From show jumping to serving up California-style pizza, Diego does it all!

A former MPC Junior Show Jumper of the Year (2008) and Show Jumper of the Year (2013), Diego has competed up to 1.20m and represented the Philippines in borrowed-horse competitions across Asia, including the SEA Games in Myanmar.

Today, while coaching at Manila Polo Club, he’s also making his mark in the culinary world as the man behind Diggy’s California-Style Pizza bringing his own creative spin.

Here’s to another year of big goals, exciting adventures, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. We’re grateful for your time and wisdom.🎂

Team Philippines enjoyed an unforgettable evening at the home of Asian Games dressage individual gold medallist, Qabil Ambak, in Rawang.

After a strong week of competition for the sisters Raines Gammon and Skye Gammon, Coach Camila Lastrilla Curto spent her final night with the team as Coach Daniella Virata arrived to take over. The evening was made even more special as nazroff —an old friend of Coach Danni, first met at a borrowed horse competition in 2003—prepared a delicious asado for everyone.

Qabil, Malaysia’s most decorated equestrian, then hosted a tour of his remarkable 3Q Equestrian Centre stables, showcasing ribbons, medals, and memories from his career in both show jumping and dressage, offering a glimpse into the legacy of one of the sport’s greats.

For Coach Danni, the visit was a meaningful return—her first time back since 2017 as SEA Games Team Manager, and a nostalgic reminder of her 2006–2007 Kuala Lumpur World Cup circuit days filled with lasting friendships.

Behind every ribbon are early mornings, setbacks overcome, valuable lessons, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Last weekend, Raines Gammon represented Equestrian Association of the Philippines at the Prime Minister’s Cup / CSIJ-B Borrowed Horse Competition held at the KUALA LUMPUR POLO CLUB from July 24–26. Paired with Kandarmiro VD Kersenheuvel Z, a horse she had only a short time to get to know, she finished 7th out of 17 riders on the final day.

She also competed in the EAM - Equestrian Malaysia National Championships aboard the leased horse Galipette Jo, going head-to-head against riders competing on their own horses.

Her results included:
🥈 2nd out of 21 riders in the 0.70m–0.80m category
🥈 2nd out of 17 riders in the 1.00m category
🥉 3rd out of 6 riders in the 1.10m–1.20m category

Together with her sister Skye Gammon and Princess Iman Aryanna Jamalullail of Malaysia, they won the 0.90m Team Competition, finishing ahead of teams that included experienced cavalry men twice their age.

A little late for World Horse Day (July 11) —but our appreciation for horses isn’t limited to just one day. 🤍🐴

Whether in Olympic sport, centuries-old textiles, museum collections, American Indian artistry, or the windows of Hermès, one thing becomes clear: the horse has shaped human history in countless ways.

No matter where we travel, we always find reminders of their enduring influence—not just as athletes or companions, but as symbols of freedom, strength, craftsmanship, and culture.

While exploring Atlanta, Coach Daniella Virata wandered through museums, browsed a few tack shops (of course!), and visited Painted Horse Winery —a charming family-owned estate and the first woman-founded winery in Georgia.

No matter where the road leads, there’s always something that brings it back to horses. Different places, different stories, but the same appreciation for the people, craftsmanship, and traditions that make the equestrian world feel connected.❤️‍🔥🍷🖼️
