But behind these numbers are countless hours of training, tired bodies, sacrifices, disappointments, adjustments, and moments when we had to remind ourselves to keep going.
To our Athletes, thank you for giving your best, for showing courage when the competition was tough, and for continuing to fight even when the journey wasn't easy. Every medal you brought home is a reflection of your hard work—but even more than the medals, we are proud of the discipline, determination, sportsmanship, and character you have shown.
To our Coaches, Trainers, and Chaperones, daghang salamat. We know the sacrifices that come with preparing our athletes. The long hours, the adjustments, the exhaustion, and all the little things that people don't always see. You kept showing up for our athletes, and that dedication matters.
To our dear Parents, thank you for being there behind every athlete. For the support, encouragement, transportation, meals, expenses, prayers, and for trusting us with your children. Every athlete who stepped onto the playing field carried not only the Griffin name, but also the love and support of their families.
To our SPTA Officers and the entire Parent-Teacher Association, thank you for your continued support to the sports programs of Mahaplag National High School. Your cooperation, generosity, and willingness to help create opportunities for our learners are part of the reason our athletes can continue to train, compete, and grow.
To the Local Government Unit of Mahaplag, our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and commitment to sports development in our municipality. We sincerely thank our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ronaldo “Lolot” T. Lleve, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members, for believing in the potential of our young athletes and for continuously supporting sports programs and activities throughout Mahaplag. Your support helps create opportunities for our learners to discover their talents, develop discipline and confidence, and proudly represent our municipality in different levels of competition. Thank you for believing that investing in our young athletes is also investing in the future of Mahaplag. We are always proud to bring honor to your name - Mahaplag!
To the whole Mahaplag Delegation, our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support, especially for helping provide funds and assistance for our athletes throughout the competition. Your support made a meaningful difference in helping our young athletes focus on what they came there to do—to compete, represent, and give their very best.
A special thank you to our District Head, Sir Dennis de Cadiz, and Ma’am Jena Estember, and to our District Sports Coordinators, Sir Jonathan Lungares and our dear Ma’am Alma Lleve, who were there to organize, guide, and lead the whole Mahaplag Delegation. Thank you for your leadership, presence, and commitment to our athletes and to the development of sports in Mahaplag.
And a very special THANK YOU to our School Head, Sir Teddy Niel P. Abayan, for continuously believing in and supporting our School Sports Club/Program. Your support has made a tremendous difference. Thank you for considering our athletes and giving importance to their training, needs, and opportunities. Your willingness to support the program has helped us push forward and give our learners the chance to grow through sports. Dako kaayo ni nga tabang sa amo, Sir!
To our School Administration, Faculty, and Staff of Mahaplag National High School, thank you for standing behind our athletes and coaches. Your support, understanding, and encouragement have helped our sports club/program shine.
Because the truth is, sports is never a one-person journey. It takes a school that believes, coaches who sacrifice, parents who support, athletes who persevere, and a community that continues to cheer.
With medals or without, every Griffin Vanguard who stepped onto that playing field is already a champion. Because the true measure of your journey is not only what you brought home, but the courage you showed, the lessons you learned, the friendships you made, and the pride you gave to Mahaplag National High School.
