Last October 19, 2022, the UPLB Pickleball Club, in partnership with the Philippine Pickleball Federation (PPF) Academy, conducted a Pickleball Clinic at the Colegio de Los Baños.
It was facilitated by no less than the PPF Academy President James Garcia, visiting Filipino-Canadian Coach Ed Figueroa, three Filipino-American advanced players, and local International Federation of Pickleball (IFP)-accredited coaches. The Pickleball Clinic started with the fundamentals of the sport and concluded with a mini-tournament where each participant was partnered with a trainer.
The activity aims to promote the sport of pickleball to the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
