RACE DAY 1 — 500M

In just an hour and a half, we went through an elimination, a repechage, and fought our way into the semifinals against some of the best crews in the world.

It wasn’t the race we envisioned, but every race leaves a lesson.

Today tested our grit, sharpened our focus, and reminded us why we keep showing up.

We take the lessons. We take the experience. We regroup.

Because we’re not done yet.

Two more race days. One crew. One goal.

A memorable day for the Iloilo Paddlers Club (IPAD) as we had the opportunity to meet and share a moment with Claudio Schermi, President of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) during the 15th IDBF Club Crew World Championships in Hualien, Taiwan.

The Iloilo Paddlers Club (IPAD) has officially arrived in Taiwan! ❤️

After months of training, preparation, and sacrifice, our crew is finally here for the 15th IDBF Club Crew World Championships at Liyu Lake, Hualien.

From Iloilo to the world stage again, we carry with us the pride, strength, and fighting spirit of every Ilonggo. The journey has brought us this far and now, it’s time to make every stroke count.
