The road to the 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐁𝐓 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 continues as we feature another strong contender and one of the pioneering clubs of IBT Badminton Sports Center—

𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁

Long before IBT was established, Birada Badminton Club was already building its badminton community.

The club traces its roots back to 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒 at Ramiro Sports Center, where they started with just 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 and around 𝟏𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟓 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬. Back then, badminton club names were not yet common, and players simply gathered to play and enjoy the sport.

As time went on, the group merged with players from Court 3, creating a bigger and stronger badminton community. Most of the members during those early years were all boys who regularly played together.

The story behind the club's name is as unique as the club itself.

Whenever players invited each other to play, instead of asking "𝑀𝑢𝑑𝑢𝑙𝑎 𝑚𝑜?" they would often say:

👉 "𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒂 𝒎𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒚𝒂?"

The phrase became so common among the group that it eventually became the club's identity. From a simple invitation to play, 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒂 became the name that would represent years of friendship, competition, and shared passion for badminton.

When IBT Badminton Sports Center opened its doors in 2023, Birada proudly became one of its pioneering clubs and has remained an active part of the growing badminton community ever since.
